Do or Die is the rap trio AK, Belo Zero and N.A.R. D. and they are set to release their latest album “Picture This II”, giving their fans a heavy dose of that unique and unmistakable Do or Die sound. Belo Zero of Do or Die states, “It was time for us to respond to the numerous requests we get on the road because our fans always ask us when is the new Do or Die album coming out.” “Picture This II” is scheduled to be released in September of 2015 under a joint venture with Do or Die’s new label D.O.D. III and Rap-A-Lot Records with Sony Red Distribution. Picture This II includes the lead single “Love In The Sky” featuring Rick Ross. AK of Do or Die states, “We wanted to bring Rick Ross into our style of music and of course he smashed it, the fans are going to love it.” Picture This II is destined to be a classic must have for your collection as it contains 17 solid Do or Die tracks with too many singles to count including “Expensive Love” and “6 Sumthin” featuring Twista, “Swerve” and “Foreign” featuring the soulful hooks and sounds of Johnny P, “In Tha Hood”, “Money Make The World Go Around” and “Like I Do” to name a few.

Do or Die is consistently working their magic this year, on April 15, 2015, Twista and Do or Die announced that they had completed work on a new collaborative EP together entitled Withdrawal (EP). The EP was released on May 19, 2015 and it contains 6 tracks, including a single entitled "Aquafina", for which a video was released. The track entitled “Withdrawal” with the same name as the EP is getting rave reviews during performances its video and the video for the track entitled “Long Way” is coming in the summer of 2015.

Do or Die is from the Westside of Chicago. Do or Die was originally a dance group inspired to rap by N.W.A., Dr. Dre, Tupac and Biggie. AK says, “Me and Belo won dance competitions all over Chicago, we were inspired to rap then my brother N.A.R.D. joined us and it all came together.” Visually, Do or Die’s stage performance and presence is unparalleled in the rap game. Do or Die initially experienced mainstream success with their first album “Picture This” which included the platinum single "Po Pimp", which peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100.

"Po Pimp" became a big hit and sparked the group's signing by Houston's Rap-A-Lot Records. Given a wide release in the summer of 1996, the single hit number 22, increasing the buzz for a full-length album from the group. In September of that year, “Picture This” was released on Rap-A-Lot. The album was certified Gold, and launched the group, as well as fellow Chicago rapper Twista, who was featured on the track, into superstardom. When Do or Die featured Twista and Johnny P on its 1996 single “Po Pimp,” the combination helped shift the direction of rap. The song’s smooth music, soulful sound of Johnny P and the mesmerizing double time raps from Do or Die and Twista struck a chord with listeners across the country, particularly in the Midwest and the South, showing that the musical innovation launched with “Po Pimp” was only the beginning. Po Pimp launched the careers of Chicagoans Do or Die, Twista, Johnny P and its producer the Legendary Traxster.

In 1998, the group released their sophomore album, "Headz or Tailz". Like the group's previous album, Headz or Tailz was a success, peaking at #13 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, producing the successful single, "Still Po Pimpin", which featured Twista and Johnny P, and peaked at #62 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #16 on the Hot Rap Singles.

Do or Die went on to release several other charting albums throughout the early 2000's, including 2000's Victory, which featured E-40, Ja Rule, and Outlawz to name a few, and 2002's Back 2 the Game, which peaked at #64 on the Billboard 200 and #25 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. In 2003, the group released Pimpin' Ain't Dead, which spawned the hit single "Do U", which featured Twista and Johnny P. The You Tube version of single of “Do U” has over 15.5 million hits and still growing with no video. Following this album, Do or Die released D.O.D. in 2005, which featured many notable industry names including production from Kanye West, Twista, DJ Quik, and R. Kelly.

Do or Die returned to Rap-A-Lot for 2006's Get That Paper. The album had a much darker, street-oriented sound to it and had only one feature on it from Rap-A-Lot label-mate Bun B. The album was met with critical success.

In 2007, Belo released a solo EP entitled “The Truth”. Later that year, in October 2007, Belo Zero pled guilty for his alleged involvement in the death of a Chicago man. Belo was sentenced to 10 years in prison of which he received good time and only served 5 years under his plea bargain. Belo maintains that his involvement was self-defense and only pled guilty to protect his family after a 6 year long court battle. While Belo Zero was away, Do or Die continued to make music. Do or Die was featured on countless projects from various artists, in addition to touring all over the country, and in 2009, they appeared on Twista's single "Yo Body" off his 2009 album, Category F5.

AK continued to make Do or Die music launching his own record label Roundtable Records, releasing a mix tape and promotional single “Sex Drive” for which a video was produced and released in 2010. That same year, AK also appeared on VH1’s Hip Hop Honors delivering his verse in “Po Pimp” in honor of the legendary success of James Prince the founder of Rap-A-Lot.

Belo Zero came home in 2011 where he returned to tirelessly working on music and film projects. Do or Die came quickly together and released several singles and collaborations, including "Loud Pack" and "Do Yo Thang". On his record label, Po House Records, Belo released a mixtape “I Plead The Fifth” with the single “Come and Go” featuring Twista and John Blu. Belo Zero is working on a song for the sound track of Spike Lee’s controversial movie entitled “Chiraq”. In 2014, on his own label Paper Chasin Records, N.A.R.D. released his mixtape entitled “Death Before Dishonor”. N.A.R.D. states, “We produced a lot of music and videos, toured the country for our fans and we gained a lot of experience in the music business”. AK states, “Throughout the years we appreciate the fact that J (James Prince) continues to stand behind us.” Belo Zero states, “The best is yet to come from Do or Die so ya better stay tuned.”
