BIRDDIE GOONATIC AKA JAMES ROBINSON was born in Greenville South Carolina. He was part of a multitalented musical family called (The Mccullough Family) at a young age he was introduced to music at Zion Baptist Church by his mother who also taught him how to play the piano. That started his desire and gave him a keen ear for music. His older brother Anthony Robinson and cousin Andre Valentine started a group called “Liquor House” they toured and opened up for many major acts in the late 90’s they also frequented Outkast Stankonia studios in Atlanta and allowed Birddie to tag along and learn the game of music. At the age of ten his brother helped Birddie Right his first rap called “Mad Flavor” he performed it at local talent shows and won more than he lost. With the musical bug he began writing music constantly to other rappers instrumentals he flipped the beats and lyrics the way he would do it and that helped him to develop his style.

His mother was single with 3 boys and money was tight so the boys had to chip in and get jobs at an early age. At the age of seventeen reality kicked in and Birddie had to turn to the streets to survive. In 2004 He ran across a drug addict that wound up being one of the promoters that held the talent shows he won at a young age. He recognized Birddie and got on him about wasting his god given talent He explained to Birddie The difference between an artist and a rapper. He said “a rapper talks about unrealistic stories and things he will never achieve but an artist base all of work on real life situations that mean something to them”. That gave Birddie the drive to get back in the music and the studio at 23 he released his first independent mixtape . He pressed up 5000 copies and strategically gave them away for free to hustles Dj’s and women so that the streets will be buzzing with his name. He included his personal contact info on every cd and people constantly called him giving him feedback about his cd. This made Birddie want to step it up another notch He release his second mixtape wit the trapaholics and had a mixtape release party. Over 1200 people showed up this led Birddie in another direction Club Promoting. This gave him an education in marketing and promotions. He was so successful at promoting he strayed away from music again but seeing the artist he booked and the reaction to the fans pulled him back into music for his last and final time. He is currently working on Muscle Muzik the mixtape wit hD.J Scream and D.J Lil Keem to be released this summer it features his first single Servin Featuring Young Dolph Produced By Metro Boomin He will Follow that up with A Kevin Gates feature and many more hits to be released before the mixtape drops. With his keen sense of marketing and promoting there is no limit to how far Birddie Goonatic can go.
