Born in Alton, Illinois, he taught himself to sing at a young age and was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows with his old rap group The Lovett Boys a group he formed with his younger brother and cousins. Today Love resides between Alton and Los Angeles working on his craft and has caught the attention of many of the industry's top professionals such as Kevin "K-Mac" McCall, songwriter Eric Bellinger(Chris Brown's "Fine China") and up and coming producer John "SK" McGee..
