Born in Gainesville, Georgia, December 22, 1987, Talay was raised by his mother and grandparents. Like many successful artists before him, Talay was denied by his father; and as a means of survival and to provide for his family, he was introduced to the street life at an early age. Quickly developing a strong work ethic and hustler mentality, Talay desired more from his life and began shifting his attention to music and basketball in an effort to escape his reality. The tragic suicide of his brother, and death of his grandmother became his motivation to pursue his craft as a music artist. Using life experiences to verbally paint vivid portraits and diverse landscapes of people and places, highs and lows, Talay offers the world raw talent and a compelling view through words and music.
