With a B.A. in Entertainment and Media Management, this multi-talented music producer, artist, singer-songwriter, Dj, and entrepreneur has become quite the sought after force in the underground music industry. He has produced music for 100’s of artists, including himself and his group, The BeatStreet Club. Along with music, roller skating has always been one of Dame-O’s most adored past times. Thus, it was no surprise when he began producing what is now known as “Chicago Skating Music.” He went on to create 3 of the most innovative musical collages entitled Skate101, Skate102, and more recently Skate 103 which has since been adorned in skating rinks all over the Chicago and have been nominted for numerous Awards across the country. Dame-O’s work in this industry has earned him a huge buzz as well as recognition in the 2009 issue of Stony Island Magazine as “Chicago’s Next Big Thing,” and “Adrenalin Award” nominations in 2011, 2012, and 2013 Dame-O’s musical style can be described as a refreshing combination of soulful hip-hop, vintage samples, and R&B which often encompasses playful, fun lyrics with a positive message. As a versatile vocal artist, Dame-O can be heard singing and/or rapping on the track. His tenor and piercing, raspy voice is fairly recognizable and has become his signature sound in his music. All of the projects that Dame-O creates are products of his personalrecording studio where he produces, writes, records, mixes and masters all his own music. The talented novice has produced tracks for dozens of artists including international producer and House Music DJ, Roy Davis Jr., Chicago Jazz Performer, TL Williams, as well as numerous projects for The BeatStreet Club and more.... Dame-O is currently working on his second solo album “Dame Meets World” slated for release 2013. His debut album “The Dame-O Show” released in 2011 and its leading single, “Inside and Outside,” received explosive reviews on both the internet and radio and has enjoyed consistent airplay on WGCI-FM Chicago. The single’s hit potential was first recognized by renowned Chicago disk jockey, DJ Phantom, who added the song to his mid-morning rotation. Additionally, “Inside and Outside” has also been favored by DJ Vince Adams, DJ Moondawg, DJ Rambo and Atlanta disk jockey’s DJ Bigg Dadd and DJ Chosen One.
