PRODjIGEM Stands for "PRODUCER, DJ, IGEM" IGEM for short grew up in Toronto, Canada during the Disco era where he grew fond of producers like Nile Rogers of Chic. This along with his Jamaican background of music in the house every day progressed into his starting to Dj at the age of 14. During the up and coming age of electro Freestyle back in the 80's PRODjIGEM learned the techniques and concepts behind mixing tracks. In the mid to late 80's he was introduced to the sound of Chicago and Detroit House Music through the infamous "Twilight Zone" of Toronto. The authentic House sound coming from out of the USA sweep through Toronto like a hurricane quickly losing it's momentum for a commercial Euro Techno House Sound. This quick change in music during the 90's put IGEM into observation mode. The 90's entered and ended with the emergence of several house genres that created many electronic music Dj's in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area). While the electronic music industry sorted itself out PRODjIGEM created a computer based free audio, video and animation program for

at-risk youth in Toronto. The Program called "The Jewil Project" was the first of it's kind to partner with the two largest school boards in the country, allowing youth to receive High school credits for participating in the program. Today PRODjIGEM produces House tracks out of his studio in one of the largest movie production facilities in the city, he uses several high end VST programs, mixing and mastering hardware and software to complete his projects. To date, PRODjIGEM has rolled out about 30 House tracks of various styles from out of his studio in Toronto Canada. His motto "I'm Still In The Game"
