Initially, he performed at house parties amongst close friends. Once he went to college at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC, he began performing at open mics in the 5 Points area and started making a name for himself. This led him to meet the other half of his group Independent's Finest, Cardon, and they started doing shows around Columbia that brought underground hip-hop to new audiences. Currently, Jospec works closely with Miles Franco and Reggie Paxton of Gritz.
