Aubrey Straw V Sound Egg is a cross-generation collaboration embracing different genres, allowing them the freedom to breathe life into songs that were hitherto left to rot on the practise room floor. This has culminated in the production of Familiar Faces V Crystal Visions. Yes, all the Vs are a bit of a mouthful but the inspirational backstory is that there were two songs that had been left to stagnate... Both ironically resurrected given the opportunity, time and inclination presented by the Coronavirus pandemic and loss of normal liberties through lockdown. In fact, the song and video has been produced remotely in its entirety: written, recorded/filmed and produced from band members’ homes between Wales and Cyprus. Fun facts: We are scared of reptilian humanoids living amongst us with plans to take over the world... But we enjoy tripping out and not worrying about it too much.
