This has been good for me to check out ... I am in the market for buying software now so that when I return to the club after spinning for 25 years I dont have to go back to using standard CD's with my decks. Just old school I guess ... but I have played on Serato because that is all cats here in KC are using, and I saw the video features and respect the Rane brand name, but the price is stoopid ... checked Traktor out at Best Buy and liked it but didnt know if it was stable ... and the price point was hella tight ... as for Torq, neva heard of it but from what I am seeing in this thread, I might want too ... Gonna do the damn thing in a matter of weeks ... and I am sure that if there is no difference in stability ... being a computer geek, I can work out any hickups .... and will go with what I have seen to be nice simple and stable and that is Traktor ... Serato there is no knock on it at alll and I cant speak on torq, but I am going to go with the one that make you different. I dont need any of these programs to rock a fuggin party as seen for the past 25 years ... just want to keep from carry a bunch of stuff and be more comfortable in using the stockpile of mp3s I have ... this has been a great thread ... thanks fellow djs
