1st off, the DJ used to be, and I still feel is the most important part of the game right behind great music. I just want to know how come so many DJ's(including friends of mine) are claiming to be record breakers, yet all they do is charge the new artist(who needs to be broken), and get the major label artist music for free? Who actually gets behind a record that they like without it being their homeboy or lil brother? Why do some DJ's play whatever BS throwaway record that Plies or Young LA(not dissing anyone, sensitive thugs)got somebodies name on it, that even the artist on it isn't trying to push, but want the Indies to have to go thru hell and pay stacks to get 2 10pm spins. But they say they "break records". Now I'm not talking about all DJ's, just those that say they Break em? Who actually does, and when will the thousands of great DJ's get rid of these weak good for nothing DJ's?
