What's Up? It can get very expensive to jump into. Take it one step at a time. You don't have to be Kid Capri overnight. I know plenty of DJ's that use the best equipment and don't know how to use it. I do advise you to do some reserch on your own. Don't just settle for cheap knockoff equipment. Maybe you may want to start with some Pioneer or Denon DJ cd players and rip mp3 cd's first. Then later you can move up to the serato digital unit. I would say this, having better equipment is the difference between a $300 gig to a $2,000 gig.
