A 24 year-old Canadian Pop singer/songwriter from Toronto, ON.
Since a young age, Djazel has always nurtured her love for music. She began singing since she could speak, and had experience playing a variety of instruments throughout her childhood.
She began teaching herself the art of songwriting three years ago and found that she had a natural knack for it. This motivated her to invest into some recording equipment and production software in order to test her musical talent and capabilities.
In April 2013, Djazel crossed paths with CEO Steve Clarke of Clarke Records online through a mutual acquaintance. Djazel contacted Steve Clarke and sent him two short demos which she had recorded herself. Steve Clarke immediately invited Djazel for a meeting where he recorded another demo, and one of Djazel's original songs ("The Hurt"). Feeling that she had enough talent and potential to join the music industry, Steve Clarke invited Djazel to join the Clarke Records family with open arms, to which she happily accepted!
She is now currently in the studio with Clarke Records, working on her first album which is set to release March 4, 2014.
