DA KILLA MANE - Harvey L. Tisdale, an American Gangster Rapper, is a producer, songwriter and artist who was born on February 2, 1986 in Greensboro, NC but shortly after his birth, his mother moved their family back to Baltimore, MD where DA KILLA MANE resides today.

His life long love of music started when he was a little kid, jamming with his “Muppet Keyboard” to LL Cool J “I Need Love”. He has always been into rap as far back as NWA and other rappers that he admired. But when he entered his pre-teens, his older cousin introduced him to free styling and shown DA KILLA MANE the basics of song structure. It was up to him to find his own voice. By the time DA KILLA MANE was in his 12th grade year, he had developed a nice flow. With no formal education in music, DA KILLA MANE taught himself everything he knows. DA KILLA MANE managed to train himself in song writing, production and audio engineering, perfecting these self taught skills on a daily basis. He has a natural ear for the music, the ability to tweak music with his audio engineering skills and DA KILLA MANE always places his own spin on anything he produces or writes. He has a twisted perception of the world. It is his vice, his gift and his curse.

DA KILLA MANE’s overall goal is to get rid of the trash that they call music. DA KILLA MANE wants to bring the logic back to the RAP music industry. He wants to show the world that good music still exist in today’s youth. Born in Greensboro but raised in Baltimore, DA KILLA MANE was a fast learner and great observer. It wasn’t until later in his life, when he was taught to free style by an older cousin, whom he look up to, instructed him in a 101 class of the rap of the mid-90’s. After being shown the basics of rapping, it was up to DA KILLA MANE to find his own voice. Through his free style raps, he found a way to channel all his anger and rage in a positive light. With his murderous rap style and an incredible ear for sound, DA KILLA MANE offers a unique style of musical content and urban reality. From his dark lyrics to his sinister tracks, DA KILLA MANE stands to be a force second to none, truly bringing the gangster back to the rap game.
DA KILLA MANE has appeared at the Lava Lounge and 5 Seasons in Baltimore, Maryland. KILLA is currently working on his first album, as well as producing tracks for his younger cousin whom is also very musically inclined.
