In the span of three short years, Kanye West went from hip-hop beatmaker to worldwide hitmaker, as his stellar production work for Jay-Z led to a major-label recording contract and, ultimately, a wildly successful solo career. West paired his beats with tongue-twisting raps and a self-assured, flamboyant personality. His dapper fashion sense set him apart from many of his rap peers, and his confidence often came across as boastful or even egotistical, albeit amusingly so. This flamboyance, of course, made for good press, something that West enjoyed in spades during his sudden rise to celebrity status. He was a media darling, appearing and performing at countless awards shows (and winning at them, too), delivering theatrical videos to MTV, and mouthing off about whatever happened to cross his mind. He frequently spoke out against the rampant homophobia evident in much rap music, posed for the cover of Rolling Stone as Jesus Christ, and even claimed during a televised Hurricane Katrina fundraiser that "George Bush doesn't care about black people." Who's That Girl - Darnaa

Darnaa is an indie artist from California who has been writing, producing and performing songs for 3 years. Songs that reflect the difficult life she has lived and triumphed over. At 25, Darnaa has survived poverty, family abuse, a forced marriage and cancer. She once said that her best childhood memories were from when she was a ward of the State because it was safer than home or living on the streets.

4 years ago Darnaa escaped a childhood marriage by moving to New York City to, as she put it, become a lady and make music. She has accomplished both goals. Darnaa has evolved into a beautiful, well coffiered woman who invokes memories of Marilyn Monroe, Dorothy Dandridge, and other starlets of a bygone era. Audiences describes her on stage persona as a diva-ish mix of Grace Jones, Blondie, Donna Summer and Sade. "A real woman artist, not a child pretending to be one."

The Music

Darnaa's music style is eclectic but fits several categories such as Hot Adult Contemporary, Top 40, Pop and Rhythmic.

Darnaa has written and recorded 14 songs, such as Runaway, Wild Child, Overdose and Curious. She has recorded more than 25 additional songs produced by various composers including seven songs by super producers Harvey Mason, Jr. and Alex Cantrell.

She has also covered iconic artists such as R.E.M., Journey, Foreigner, Dixie Chicks, Cher and Jimi Hendrix.

Darnaa recently became the first African American artist to co-produce, record and release 3 songs with various artists in South Korea.

The Performer

Darnaa is a dramatic artist who interacts with her audiences on a very personal level. She performs with her four piece Garage Band, Tsunami. She has done over 50 shows all over the country and abroad in venues of up to 10,000 seats. Darnaa has shared the stage with artists such as B.O.B.,Miguel, French Montana, Travie McCoy, Dev, Kid Sista, R.Kelly and KEM.

Darnaa owns and uses two vintage tour buses, 40'×24' stage, complete touring sound and light system, 5 camera video system and mobile recording system.She and her band are completely wireless and can perform in any size venue including clubs typically set up for DJs only.

Asian Market

Darnaa recently completed a 17-day promotional tour in Korea. She performed to music tracks in several of the most popular venues in Seoul. The audiences, which at times numbered up to 5,000, overwhelmingly embraced Darnaa and her music.

She recorded and released 3 songs with Korean artists HoonieHoon, V.Hera and DJ Fraktal. She is the first African American artist to accomplish that feat. The first song that has been released is called Yellow Ribbon and and commemorates the almost 300 children lost in the Sewol Ferry sinking. The response to it has been very strong. The song will be released in China shortly.
Her Hoonie Hoon collaboration, called #RUN, was just released July 20th.

Darnaa also produced a video and photo shoot with some of the top talent in Korea. Her trip was covered and reported in over 53 online and print publications and garnered more than 88 million views.

Darnaa is currently in negotiations for the lead role in a movie to be made and distributed in China.

The trip was sponsored by Universal Network East West (UNEW)and was intended to test the water for a stadium tour and sale of mer usic in Asia, especially China. Early indicators are that a tour and record sales could be very successful.

European Markets

Judge Jules, considered by many to be the originator of house music in Europe, and an important DJ on the BBC Radio Network, recently remixed two popular songs of Darnaa's. He has proposed to distribute the songs through his European DJ and club network and then bring Darnaa to Europe for a multi-city promotional tour ending in Ibiza. Many of the DJ who have heard Darnaa's music have asked to do their own remixes.

The goal of the promotional tour is to test the market for retailing of her records and a concert tour.

Only 11 years old, Keed and three of his closest friends started freestyling. By the age of 13, he wrote his first song. Born and raised in lower income Kansas City, Missouri, Keed moved from neighborhood to neighborhood using his musical talent to establish his credibility and bonds with his peers. After being in many groups, he dropped his first solo project at the age of 18. As of 2012, he has released 5 solo albums, 6 radio singles, and featured on dozens of other albums.

Keed Tha Heater grew up listening to relevant Hip-Hop released at the time such as: Spice 1, Ghetto Boys, NWA, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Mase, DMX, 2Pac, Biggie, Missy Elliot, Nonchalant, Outcast, No Limit Records, and Juvenile. Nowadays, rap music has gotten totally out of control. What once started off as music that came from the people for the people -- or better yet, from the streets for the streets -- has now become somewhat of a capital joke. It has become a music overrun with a slew of overnight sensations, wannabe hustlers who do nothing but brag about their money, cars, clothes and jewelry. Into this mix of fake bravado and gaudy bling is born a new hero, one who is not afraid to forge a new path by telling it like it really is out here in these streets. His name is Roam Bad Daddy, rap’s much needed breath of fresh air. He is not afraid to represent for the underclass – the people rap seems to have forgotten.

Having grown up on the east side of Savannah, Georgia, a city that has a staggering poverty rate of 22% and a jobless rate of 9.1%, Roam Bad Daddy knows what it means to go without. According to Roam, growing up was kind of rough. The product of a single parent home, his mother worked hard to try and make ends meet. Because his mother wasn’t really strict with him, Roam was allowed to explore the streets of Savannah’s east side. There, he became exposed to the harsh reality of life and the music he would grow to love (e,g. Trick Daddy, U.G.K, Eightball & MJG).

After honing his rap skills in the streets, his friends convinced the budding young rapper that he has what it takes to make it big in the rap game. It wasn’t long before Roam Bad Daddy was able to hook up with the rap world’s number one independent record label, Pure Pain Records. Once Roam Bad Daddy got with Pure Pain Records, he wasted no time getting down to business, dropping hot verses on the label’s then flagship artist Camoflauge’s Universal debut “Strictly 4 Da Streetz” and an independent release “Keepin It Real”. These verses created a strong demand for Roam. After the tragic death of Camoflauge, many people counted Pure Pain Records out; however, Roam picked up the mantle and continued to drop hot music, mix tape appearances and touring, tirelessly building a huge cult following in the Sea Port area and beyond.

Right now, Roam Bad Daddy is one of the hottest artists in the South. His current track “Do Dat,” a down and dirty out gritty song about handling one’s business in the streets is in heavy rotation in clubs and mix shows throughout the Sea Port area. The song is also a favorite among strip club DJs and dancers in Atlanta.

This is a really fat track!!! club smasher!!!! but why is the dirty version in such a bad quality??:o

I cannot play it either in da club nor on the radio, and here in Germany we do not play clean versions....

Is there any chance of getting the dirty edit in good quality?
