There are all types of Dj's. At first I thought you must be scratching, juggling, and breaking beats to be a DJ. I watched those Grand Master Flash vids, I watched Q-Bert tearing the vinyls up, Babu awing the crowd. Then I went to a huge event in SF (Candle Stick Park) and watched a Trance DJ killing the crowd of 10,000 and he didn't scratch once! Tiesto selling out a whole freaking stadium and spun the whole set himself. To me, it all boils down to your music selection and sequence in playing it. I spin hiphop, I love to scratch and break beats at the same time I have an open mind for House music, DNB. Alot of my vinlys still have que point stickers on it. I incorperated my set with Serato and love the fact that I dont have to cary 100lb crates to do a two hours set anymore. I love the fact that I can just press one button and load up my track at its cue point, loops, and effects. Innovation, imagination and creativity has gotten us here. There are no more bounderies and for the love of the art of spinning, in my opinion you must adapt and embrass the changes. If one is limited in his thought of djing than he holds himself back from innovation! We would all be the same, sound the same if we live within this square of how a dj should be or what he/she should do to be lable'd. I don't lable my self a Dj, the crowd calls me it. Last note. Here is DeadMau5 rocking a whole stadium using just Ableton, EFX and a mixer without 1200's. Bet you never thought that was possible huh?

I think Serato 1.9 has put a dent in kue's wallet with the new on board sampler. It may only be 6 banks but crap, how many freaking effects do you need? Plus, on live sets you only use that stupid horn and explosion. Every once in a while your tag but thats about it. If your gonna spend $100 spend it on Korg's Nano Pad.

This tracks cool. I think it would be just another filler. I just don't hear any catchy stuff in it. Thanks for the track.

Does anyone have the instrumental? This songs gonna get played out before we get the promo!

It's alright. I think it would be nice for a mixtape. I can't really see it as a club banger. I don't really know how the crowd would go apeshit on this. I guess I am just hella used to peak hour tracks. Don't take my word for it though, they put me on peak hour cause I succ and the only time I can keep the crowd is when they all drunk LOL!!!

Obviously! I started spinning on a budget belt driven Numark Battle Pack and I must say, that's the biggest waste of money in my life! So I will never be on a budget for doing the things I love. $5000 later I'm spinning on 12's, Pio's DJM and a Mac Book Pro equipped with SSL & Ableton. I have never used Torq or any other DVS so I don't know what thier like but I am very satisfied with Serato. I guess it's good to be using the industry standard. That way when you are at the clubs you'll be around familiar equipment. Any DVS is a must for DJ's of this era and those Dj's who hates carrying that damn 100lb record bag! If Hip-Hop is your music of choice, and you love to scratch, TTM57's or Pio's DJM w/ Serato's the only way to go (my opinion).

I wouldn't go all out and say this. I have lots of respect for the artist and the amount of time it takes for them to put each track together but I don't this track is banging! I doubt if it will get any club play.

Dope! Nuff said. Do you have the instrumental? Gotta put eight bars on this one.

I'm a big fan of Luda so I'm ma be bias to say that everything he's on is fiyaaah!
-
Alright. Not feeling this track. The FAB usually kills it on these duo love tracks but I don't think he blazzed this one up. Also Shonie's voice aint doin it. It might get club play but not on my set. Thanks

Fiyaaa!!! What brings the ladies to the dance floor will also bring the crowd. Not comparable to the original but will create new memories with this one. Chac has his own memories with the original track LOL!!

Cool. Em always kills me with his shit! Nice for a mix tape but I don't think it will go right in the clubs. Just my thoughts.

I likes!!! I gotta edit this one. As much as we like Dj Drama, I can't have his tags on my set. Thanks!!
