Big Sean took to Twitter to release his latest single "Control" to his over 4 million Twitter followers, which features 26-year-old rapper Kendrick Lamar. The seven minute song, which didn’t make it on to his upcoming album, Hall of Fame, is causing quite the stir due to one of Kendrick’s verses. On the song, Kendrick raps about being the "king of New York" even though he is actually from Compton, California. The he sings that he wants to steal fans away from the biggest names in the rap community.

Born in Tappahannock, Virginia, he taught himself to sing and dance at a young age and was involved in his church choir and several local talent shows.
