  1. Pharmacy technician schools can be found all across the country. There are both universities and colleges that offer programs where people can earn the education needed to become a pharmacy technician. In many cases, schools that have a strong pharmacy program itself will also offer a pharmacy technician program. There are other ways in which you can earn a pharmacy technician education without attending these schools. With each of these schools, the subjects taught and the completion time of the course will vary.

In both hospitals and pharmacies, there are expected to be a great number of available jobs for pharmacy technicians in the next several years.
