Nic Dante, born Nicolas Dante Bush to Stan and Jessica Bush on May 4, 1987, a gifted vocal talent and music entertainer. From the New Orleans/Miss. Gulf Coast, after Hurricane Katrina, to San Antonio, Texas which has now become the grounds in which he has molded himself into San Antonio’s premiere entertainer, thanks to his Father, Stan Wayne and others, doing everything from Elvis to Usher. "I have been able to sing songs since I was 3 years old", says Nic, It has always come natural to me. His interest in music comes from his Father, Stan Wayne, a Vegas like entertainer who has toured with the likes of the Platters and have opened for acts such as, The Stylistics, Chubby Checker, and Bobby Wolmack. "I started in local talent shows on the Gulf Coast and around town till I was known for being a performer but the feeling I would get on stage let me know that this is what I will do forever", says Nic. With his boy band, Next Level, he was starting to get recognition from his peers as the entertainer, but it wasn't till he started playing with his father’s show group, Heart and Soul, that he started to get recognized by his elders as a young man with a vocal gift. After getting hit by a devastating blow, "Hurricane Katrina", Nic and his family found themselves relocating to San Antonio, Texas, where unknowingly at the time would be the best move made. "The best disaster that has ever happened to me", Nic jokingly remarks. Although painful for him, it put Nic in a position to take his performance to a higher level. "The Casinos would rarely let me perform due to being under age but the clubs in San Antonio were just so appreciative of the talent we brought that they let me do my thing". Signed by Michael Kuehne and Chris O’Hara with Troubadour Tunes in San Antonio Texas, Nic has worked in studios with the likes of Billboard winning producer Skatta Burrell and Grammy award winning producer Ace 1 and currently has two up and coming singles as featured on 98.5 the Beat, “Swag it out” ft. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, and first garnered recognition for his role as Jimmy Brooks on the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation.
