See, you mentioned all the extras Torq has. Serato is live. Why do you need extras? did you get into djing cause it was digital? No, you wanted to rock the turntables right? Do turntables have extras? Hell no. So, Serato is for live dj's all the rest is for studio geeks. If your software has any type of beat sync it is a studio thing.

Thanks to all the virtual dj software out there! Rookie dj's can try and make a quick come up. If they spent a lot of money like the rest of us pro's they wouldn't be so fast to accept low rates. Hell with these club/bar owners. Most think $150 is the going rate for dj's. We just got to promote ourselves better and get e-mail list of people who come out to hear you so you can develop a following so you can prove your worth. When you get that gig that pays your worth don't burn any bridges, (unless you got a day job.) Personally, I'm going with the private functions... weddings mostly. Thats where you can get paid.
