I'm with ya, in London the Dj Scene is very competitve. Everyone wants to be a Dj.They have full time jobs and do gigs to get props, boost their ego or pull the honeyz. Not for the love of the game or most importantly the music. I've been in the game for 28 years, promoted my own events & brought over live acts. Yet i'm pitched against amateurs who can't mix or run lyrics on a mic. Amateurs are devaluing the game for all of us who've played music with a passion and supported not just big label but fought for the independent artists.
