Biography
Paul R. Fioroni – A Life of Stories, Sports, and Service
Paul R. Fioroni has lived many lives in one. He has been a professional hockey player, a coach, a nonprofit founder, a community leader, and, above all, a storyteller. From an early age, Paul found meaning in words, and today, his writing stands as an extension of his journey across sports, service, and imagination.
Born and raised in a multicultural family in Toronto, Paul began writing as a teenager. At just thirteen, he completed his first science-fiction story, and by his twenties, he was publishing poetry. His curiosity led him into screenwriting before he finally found his voice in long-form fiction. The culmination of these creative pursuits is his fantasy novel, The Color of the Rift, a book that blends the epic imagination of Tolkien with the depth of Goodkind, while carrying Paul’s unique themes of friendship, justice, and transformation.
