The Rich Kids are the next musical movement from Atlanta, Georgia. Comprised of members: Rashard, Babe Kaelub, Baby Charles, Lil Juney and Skool Boy, The Rich Kids have the Atlanta underground music-scene going nuts. The group is a collection of all-star talent from Atlanta's Frederick Douglass, Westlake and Southside High Schools. They currently have two hit singles bubbling in Atlanta. The melodic "Wassup" and the club-banger "My Partna Dem". The group is preparing for the release of their first mixtape entitled "Money Swag" hosted by DJ Infamous. They are also in the studio preparing their debut release!

So the Rich Kids are the "new" hot sh*t in ATL, which in itself, is an accomplishment. With the vast number of signed acts, budding independents, & unsigned hypes that travel here to make their careers pop off, anybody who can claim a piece of airplay deserves respect.

My question is this; what happens to them when the fad dies out? Is there enough legit talent for them to last or will the Rich Kids & the Swag Surf cats fade into obscurity (remember Laffy Taffy & Party like a rockstar?)

Lord knows, I wanna see them succeed. I'd rather see young cats having fun than the oh-so-common urban alternative.
