George Cameroon (GC): RnB/Pop/Hip Hop/Trap Artist/Co-CEO/Co-founder at J&G Records South Africa/Middle East was born in Kumba, South West Province of Cameroon, West Africa.
The stage name “George Cameroon” was dubbed after a lot of questions about his name and where he is originally from and also because of the love for his roots.

George Cameroon studied Plant Biology (Botany) for three years at the University of Dschang, in Cameroon (A French and English University). This made George Cameroon very bilingual (French and English).
George Cameroon moved to South Africa in January 2004, where he studied Marketing Management at the then Bond University in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa (An Australian University).
George Cameroon worked as a security officer for a year to cover up his educational and life expenses. George Cameroon also worked as a restaurant manager at Wimpy for two years. George Cameroon later joined the retail giant, Pick n Pay, and worked there for eight years, as the Senior Receiving Manager.
With all these education, skills and experience acquired, George Cameroon was still not satisfied. There were still some things missing; a wife, children and pursuing his musical career. George Cameroon got married and has three sons. George Cameroon then followed his passion and ignited his dreams for music.
George Cameroon`s singing and dancing abilities were inspired by greats such as Boyz 2 Men, Michael Jackson, R. Kelly and Usher Raymond, who inspired him in writing his first song in 2000.
George Cameroon worked on this inspiration and recorded his demo album, “Lollipop” in 2013.

George Cameroon has been to Channel O and S.A.M.A awards and also did perform at the Joburg Theatre, for the album Launch of fellow Cameroonian artist, Jipps Way.

George Cameroon`s great singing and performance paved the way for his performances at events and clubs such as STONES Night Club in Greenstone, Germiston, Johannesburg, South Africa.
George Cameroon`s “Lollipop” music video (demo music video) was shot in December 2012. The demo music video was published in January 16, 2013. It can be viewed on YouTube via the link below;

With the great singing and dancing talent that is embedded in George Cameroon, coupled with his writing skills, he writes and composes his own songs and co-produces them. As a talented new-comer, he directed and produced his demo music video (“Lollipop”). There are no limitations for him.
George Cameroon directed a holiday musical and performed on stage songs by Boyz 2 Men, at the age of eighteen (18), alongside his younger brother, Kelvin.
George Cameroon`s songs are based on his personal experiences, life happenings and some wild imaginations. George Cameroon started performing on stage at the age of fifteen (15), while in secondary school.
George Cameroon`s career will see fans being serenaded by Rnb, Pop, Hip Hop, Afro Pop, RnB/Jazz, Trap and dance hall songs. George Cameroon`s songs will transcend race and age and will see him collaborating with other artist of different music genres.
His debut internationally single "Sting like a Bee" was release online in December 25, 2016 through DO IT Records (New Zealand) and is available online in all major retail stores globally.

He is currently in studio working on his second Single. George Cameroon has a number of musical projects in the pipe line as well as acting in soapies and movies.
