Produced by the late BIG MAKK, and Andre, “SMART” shines bright on Reed's vocal abilities with BIG MAKK (a Mad Decent DJ) at his best. On August 29, 2016, BIG MAKK tragically lost his life in a car accident and is featured in the music video. Palmer Reed’s national entry point as a lyricist was Spring 2015 when his featured 16 bar verse and hook on the Baka Boyz “Show Me” along-side Too $hort (distributed by Empire) racked up more than a half a million streams. The release of “SMART” serves as one of the last productions Orlando's BIG MAKK and Palmer Reed were able to create together. As a visual single “SMART” proves their creative energy reached beyond the experience of recording the song in a true art form for conscious minds.
