Wild Wayne from New Orleans radio station Q93 recently spoke with Lil Wayne over the phone for an interview to promote his “Lil Weezyana Fest” that will be taking place next month.

During the 30-minute conversation, Weezy spoke on his Free Weezy Album, music being his life, if it ever gets difficult for him, getting advice from Juvenile during the early Cash Money days, trying to impress Juvie on songs instead of fans, calling Birdman’s work phone every day and rapping on the voice message, who his influences are, Baby not liking the idea of Sqad Up, naming his album 500 Degreez after Juvie dropped 400 Degreez, Young Thug trying to name his album Tha Carter VI, finding Nicki Minaj and Drake, getting texts from his idol Jay Z, and more.

Tunechi also revealed in the interview that Kevin Gates was signed to Young Money for a minute and that his own favorite songs from FWA are either “My Heart Races On” and “London Roads“. You can listen to the full conversation between Tune and Wild Wayne after the jump below!
