East Texas native David “Dolo Dollaz” Thomas has emerged as one of the most electrifying upcoming artist from the unfamiliar region of Texas. Like many, Dolo’s family has a history of drugs, violence, and poverty however, with the aid of music he is consistently striving for success proving that hardships can be overcome with faith, hard work, and determination. As a kid, he started out doing amateur performances mimicking superstars like MC Hammer and Michael Jackson, realizing he loved to be in front of a crowd. During his early teens Dolo Dollaz was influenced by rappers UGK, OutKast, Scarface, Bone Thugs, DMX, and Jay-Z. Following High School graduation, Dolo Dollaz moved from the small town of Mount Pleasant to Dallas, TX in pursuit of better opportunities.
