This has to be one of the luckiest years for NBA All Star and Miami Heat‘s own Lebron James, he has won the NBA Championship for 2 consecutive years, NBA MVP for the 4th time and Nike also generate $300 million in the U.S. sales off of his signature sneakers. All of that is cool and all, but the biggest awards he will be receiving will come later on today. It’s priceless, he can’t put in the display case with his other trophies and it’s an once of a lifetime ordeal. King James will be tying the knot with his high school sweetheart and the mother of his kids,  Miss. Savannah Brinson.

According to the KFBM-TV CBS8, San Diego, the wedding will be small with a few guest including some of the Miami Heat  players and staff, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul and Jay-Z & Beyonce.  The two only wanted a couple of hundred guest compared to Michael Jordan who invited 2,000 people to his wedding this past April.  A source tells the  New York Post , James really wanted to cut the wedding down because he didn’t want to have a 1,000 people at the wedding.

The festivities kicked off Friday in San Diego where the two hosted a Barbecue cookout to greet the guest who will be attending the wedding today, and the farewell brunch will be held on Sunday.  There’s also speculation that the wedding will be held at the Grand Del Mar or Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego.

The Miami Heat forward popped the questioned to Brinson on December 31, 2011.

Maybe their lovely  nuptials will help Gabrielle and Dwayne Wade hurry up and set a date….We’re waiting on those two.

Congrats Again!
