Story

Born March 10th 1989 Terry Reed aka Lil Terry. Music is what I do and it is my hobby to make beats, write music and I enjoy listening. I am from Port Arthur, Texas the home Hip Hop's Great Rap Duo UGK so I grew up listening to their music as a kid. I am Terry Reed and everyone who knows me calls me Lil Terry and we celebrate, so I fell in love with music when my family was playing records partying. I first started making music when I was a teenager I was chopping and screwing records freely and plus making cds for free. I didn't know too much about making music except how to keep the music flowing. When I make a track I like to hear music perfect so it gets very easy then very time consuming so work that takes 30 mins could take 1 or 2 hours. Thats what I like to or start thinking when its about time to make a track. I have very little equipment maybe a 25 key keyboard midi and a condenser microphone, and that is just a cheap setup also I use facebook to promote "DJ Musik." Growing up I done a lot on my own. My family was always supportive of what I was into. My parents are inseparable and they give up a lot for me as a son but they teach me so much also. Work hard and be somebody is what they used tell me, so I enjoy my life and the ones around me. I have 3 syblings who are close to me. I enjoy things that take me back like music or cars because its great being the little brother or the little cousin that can be the center of attention. The more I do for myself the more I see my syblings support me at it. They like everytime I can stay up all night and let them sleep with me, because they know what I'm doing is positive and its them who want to hear it. I never had a job and I spend most of my time alone. I only surround myself with the people who love me the most but I hope one day that could change to me being a self-made millionaire from making instrumentals is what I dream of. Not a picky listener, listening to a cd that my have anything from hip hop to country.. I couldn't pick if it was Tim McGraw the next track would be Usher and Ludacris since I wouldn't try to split the two genres up when I leave town. DJ Musik is the only thing (label) I've ever been apart of but I want for my business to be more into the mainstream. Which allows my label to grow. I have friends who also make beats for me and my group "GlobetrotterTv" (80+ Beatmakers) and "City to City" (30+ Recording Artist).. as a DJ I love to work with these two groups and growing my business.
