Mz Blue (born Helen Hadnot) is a rapper, singer, model, and aspiring actress, from Houston, Texas. She has worked with artist such as J Dawg, Young Black, K-Rino, Beat King, J Pen Jail, SPC, and has opened up for Lil Flip. She has appeared on countless of mix-tapes and several underground videos. Mz Blue started gaining recognition on DJ Tees’s independent label Sideways Records in 2005. This exposure led her to perform at Scott Gerners night club in front of the NAACP. Since then Mz Blue has been featured on several local TV stations such as Fox 26, Public Access, and Hot T.V. She has also performed at numerous clubs all around the city. The Houston native has been published in a few print magazines for music and modeling both. Currently Mz Blue is working on her mix-tape titled “Middlez Up” in which she hopes to bring back that crazy, sexy, cool flavor in the female realm of hip-hop. This is going to be one exciting year as she has a new book being released in the next up-coming months. She is raising the bar and setting the records straight for anyone who second guesses her. With more than just looks and beauty this diva is killing things with her in your face attitude and hard delivery. Proving again that hard work pays off and books cannot be judged by their covers.
