Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1969 or 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, and occasional actress. She rose to prominence after releasing her self-titled debut studio album Mariah Carey in 1990; it went multiplatinum and spawned four consecutive number one singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Under the guidance of Columbia Records executive and later husband Tommy Mottola, Carey continued booking success with followup albums Emotions (1991), Music Box (1993), and Merry Christmas (1994), and was established as Columbia's highest-selling act. Daydream (1995) made music history when its second single "One Sweet Day", a duet with Boyz II Men, spent a record sixteen weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100, and it remains the longest-running number-one song in U.S. chart history. During the recording of the album, Carey began to deviate from her R&B and pop beginnings and slowly traversed into hip hop. This musical change became evident with the release of Butterfly (1997), at which time Carey had separated from Mottola.
Carey left Columbia in 2000, and signed a $100 million recording contract with Virgin Records America. Before the release of her film Glitter (2001), she suffered a physical and emotional breakdown and was hospitalized for severe exhaustion. Following the film and album's poor reception, she was bought out of her recording contract for $50 million, which led to a decline in her career. She signed a multimillion dollar contract deal with Island Records in 2002, and after an unsuccessful period, returned to the top of music charts with The Emancipation of Mimi (2005). Its second single "We Belong Together" became her most successful single of the 2000s, and was later named "Song of the Decade" by Billboard. Carey once again ventured into film with a well-received supporting role in Precious (2009); she was awarded the "Breakthrough Performance Award" at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and received Black Reel and NAACP Image Award nominations.
Throughout her career, Carey has sold more than 200 million records worldwide, making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time. In 1998, she was honored as the world's best-selling recording artist of the 1990s at the World Music Awards. Carey was also named the best-selling female artist of the millennium in 2000. According to the Recording Industry Association of America, she is the third-best-selling female artist in the United States, with 63.5 million certified albums. With the release of "Touch My Body" (2008), Carey gained her 18th number-one single in the United States, more than any other solo artist. In 2012, Carey was ranked second on VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Women in Music". Aside from her commercial accomplishments, Carey has won five Grammy Awards, 19 World Music Awards, 11 American Music Awards, and 31 Billboard Music Awards. Referred to as the "songbird supreme" by the Guinness World Records, she is famed for her five-octave vocal range, power, melismatic style and signature use of the whistle register.

Jayceon Terrell Taylor (born November 29, 1979), better known by his stage name The Game or simply Game, is an American rapper and actor. Game is best known as a rapper in the West Coast hip hop scene, and for being one of Dr. Dre's most notable protégés. Born in Los Angeles, California, he released his first mixtape You Know What It Is Vol. 1 in 2002, and landed a record deal with the independent label Get Low Recordz owned by JT the Bigga Figga. Game's mixtape reached the hands of Sean Combs, founder of Bad Boy Records, who originally was on the verge of signing him to his label. Five months later, he was discovered by Dr. Dre who listened to the mixtape and signed him to his Aftermath Entertainment label in 2003. He rose to fame in 2005 with the success of his debut album The Documentary (2005) and Doctor's Advocate (2006). The Recording Industry Association of America certified his album The Documentary double platinum in March 2005 and it has sold over five million copies worldwide.
A rising artist in the 2000s, Game is considered to be a driving force in bringing back the West Coast hip hop scene into the mainstream and competing with many of his East Coast counterparts. Game was placed into G-Unit by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine. Due to his disputes with 50 Cent, Game left Aftermath Entertainment and signed with Geffen Records, another label under Universal Music Group's Interscope-Geffen-A&M division, to terminate his contractual obligations with G-Unit in the summer of 2006. Game's second album Doctor's Advocate was released on November 14, 2006 and it became his second straight album to debut at number one on the US Billboard 200 chart. Doctor's Advocate did not feature any production from Dr. Dre. Pitchfork Media placed The Documentary at number 35 on their list of Top 50 Albums of 2005. Game was nominated with a total of two nominations, including Grammy Award for Best Rap Song and Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for the smash single "Hate It or Love It". The New York Times named Doctor's Advocate best hip-hop album of 2006.
His next album LAX was released in 2008. With his fourth studio album The R.E.D. Album, Game again debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. In addition to music, Game has starred in motion pictures and founded The Black Wall Street Records. In September 2011, Game started working on his fifth studio album, Jesus Piece, which was released on December 11, 2012, his final album released by Interscope. After releasing a mixtape OKE, on October 12, 2013, Birdman announced The Game had signed to Cash Money Records, which is distributed by Republic Records. However, The Game later said that the deal had not been finalized yet.

DJ E-MONSTA reacted to GreenHitz.com in PluGG - Flex
Hollywood on the west coast in Los Angeles and Hollywood Road on the west side of Atlanta have one thing in common- they both have seen their share of lights, cameras and action, but for decidedly different reasons. Burgeoning rap star Da’Quan “PluGG” Hayes knows the disparity first hand. Born and raised in one of the city’s most notorious crime riddled neighborhoods, the 18-year-old diamond in the rough is polishing his skills with one goal in mind and that’s to be the best.
PluGG earned his moniker earnestly. As a high school student at Benjamin E. Mays, the young hustler became known as the go-to guy on campus for any and everything. In between being an enterprising teenager, PluGG was dabbling in the studio where he would often spit over beats produced by his brother. Once school was over, the MC began focusing all of his attention on rapping. As a result, he completed his debut mixtape aptly titled Hollywood Raised, Volume 1. Much like the MC’s personality, his music is straightforward, authentic and cool.
PluGG has a natural knack for capturing the tone and attitude of old-school Atlanta with the raw emotion found in his hardened lyrics that chronicle his troublesome life. His dad was incarcerated for 13 years, as was as his uncle, however PluGG didn’t allow any of that misfortune to slow him down. The certified trendsetter takes his frustrations out on the mic spitting street tales over trap beats that prove he’s lining himself up to carry on the tradition set before him by west Atlanta vets such as TI, Young Dro and Shawty Lo. Like his predecessors, PluGG has a real heart for the city, however he brings his own perspective, experiences and slang. While he proudly reps his zone, PluGG’s unique appeal places him in a lane dominated by no one but himself.
On the soon to be classic Hollywood Raised, Volume 1, the lyrical storyteller flexes his songwriting muscle. PluGG gives listeners a glimpse into what life has been like growing up on the ruggedness of his block, a place where everybody knows your name. He pens genuine, relatable material that transcends socioeconomic status, writing about struggle, loss and pain, as well as celebrating the good times. The first single “Flex” is a charismatic track with a militant beat and a rhythmic hook. On cuts like “MVP,” “I Stand Alive” and “Don’t Play With Me,” it’s evident that PluGG acknowledges the fact that Hollywood Road made him the man he is today. Utilizing the solid production talent of his brother and other emerging yet gifted beat makers, the rising wordsmith and self-described “studio rat,” is ready to take over the world of hip-hop. Resurrecting a new southern sound, PluGG is on a mission to spread his brand of ghetto gospel on a global level.

Aaron Charles Kimbrough was born in Little Rock Arkansas on August 23, 1991. He was raised in a single parent home for the early part of his childhood and resided in several different Little Rock projects. Aaron eventually moved to the country with his grandparents at the age of nine where he would develop various important life skills. While living the country life, he began to explore music as a hobby. Influenced by Tupac, Aaron began to freestyle in the 5th grade with a group of friends during recess. He eventually began to write lyrics about daily events mixing in an imaginary life driving old school vehicles with candy paint. He began to respond to the nickname AC during this period.
Aaron had many nicknames but AC always stuck with him since grade school. AC eventually moved back to the city his sophomore year in high school. During his two year tenure at North Little Rock High, Aaron began to take his music skills seriously and recorded several mixtape songs. He eventually released the mixtape during his senior year which boosted him to instant star status amongst his peers and city. AC needed a marketable name that was relevant to his music and style. With a week of deliberation, Aeir Charles was born. Aeir Charles has been on the move ever since honing his sound and writing skills in an attempt to become one of hip hops leading musicians. During his quest a local label, Soul Breed Records LLC, signed the young mc due to his unique talent.

Born in Brooklyn, New York and currently based in Los angeles, Ca, rapper King Sesame has been paving his musical path since an early age. Surrounded and influenced by some of the greats of our era, his sound is like nothing you have ever heard. “I dont want to be cliché,” Sesame says. “I want people to respect my music. I have the drive to be original and to stay true to who I am as a person and as an artist, and not create a gimmick with my artistry.”
Listening to artists like 2pac on the West Coast as well as Jay-z, B.I.G. and Nas on the East, plus Eminem from the Midwest and Jeezy from the south, Sesame has many influences. My mother always had R&B, Soul, and Jazz music playing around the house so I just picked up on singing naturally. Growing up, King wanted to emulate the freedom of expression that his favorite artists embodied with their lyrics. Born in Fort Green. Brooklyn he was surrounded by a level of poverty that drove people into drugs, into the ghetto and the streets. While divulging into that lifestyle personally, music gave him an outlet to convey his experiences, his fears and his ambition; an ambition that still drives him today as a creative artist.
King Sesame has been featured on 2 platinum albums by R&B Singer Avant. King released his first mixtape Bow to the King last year and his 2ndmixtape Malcolm Ses in March 2014. He is currently working on his KISS EP to be released in 2015, which features production from Jahlil beats, Zaytoven, 808 mafia and many others.
The story of King Sesame is one of humble beginnings and an undying ambition to strive towards greatness to fulfill a higher purpose. The tribulations of his youth and unfortunate dispositions of his early adulthood have sculpted him into a much wiser man, all while maintaining a certain undeniable charisma that continues to draw new fans in everyday.
