cycl-1 reacted to GreenHitz.com in 2 Chainz Ft. Lil Wayne - MFN Right (Remix) @2chainz @LilTunechi
Known as Tity Boi in the Atlanta-based Playaz Circle, 2 Chainz launched a successful solo career in 2010 and issued hits like "No Lie" and "Where U Been" while becoming the go-to artist for guest verses. Born and raised in College Park, Georgia, 2 Chainz first went solo in 2007 with the mixtape Me Against the World. The 2Pac references continued with his 2009 mixtapes Trap-A-Velli and All Ice on Me, but 2010's Me Against the World 2: Codeine Withdrawal hit his style on the nose with the last bit of its title, and when DJ Teknikz and DJ Frank White collected his best street tracks in 2011, the hard and hazy set of cuts was dubbed the Codeine Cowboy mixtape. That same year he was featured on David Banner's "Yao Ming" and Big K.R.I.T.'s "Money on the Floor," while a year later he landed on Kanye West's "Mercy" as well as Nicki Minaj's "Beez in the Trap." He also signed with the Def Jam label in 2012 and released the single "No Lie" before dropping his official debut, Based on a T.R.U. Story. Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Mike Posner were among the Grammy-nominated album's special guests, while production was handled by the likes of the-Dream and Drumma Boy. Following later announcements that 2 Chainz had been working on new material with Pharrell Williams and Drake, a sequel -- titled B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time -- arrived in September 2013. The album featured the hits "Feds Watching" and "Where U Been," but 2 Chainz was also heard on singles from B.o.B. ("Headband"), Major Lazer ("Bubble Butt"), and Juicy J ("Bandz a Make Her Dance") that same year, while 2014 saw him joining Sage the Gemini on the Imasu! single "Only That Real." In 2016, he released the solo single "Feel Like Cappin'" along with the album ColleGrove, a collaboration with Lil Wayne, although only 2 Chainz was credited due to label issues. ~ David Jeffries

Born Memphis TN, Frayser area by way of Atlanta GA. Young Memph has been influenced by artist such as Yo Gotti, Mr Bigs, The Isley Brothers, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Biggie & Tupac. Yet to date his greatest influence remains to be his sisters that taught him how to drop bars. Young Memph moved to Atlanta at the age of 12 and started recording at 13.
Memph states “he knew his music was good but not good enough” and started to make music all could enjoy, leaving out all profanity in his music. Not to say he has gone soft or lost his edge, his craft proves he can go bar for bar with the best of them with so much personality and distinctive swagger in his flow one can’t help but listen close for his next punch line or how Memph will deliver his next verse, while proudly holding his head high when his mother listens to his musical creations. Young Memphs new Single is Doin Da Most, just as the title states, hittin hard in the streets/clubs of Atl and Memphis getting heated up for Radio. Causing others to mimic and follow but there is only one Young Memph paving the way. Big up to Dj Blu The Street A&R providing Memphs first spin of Doin Da Most in Mansion Elion Atl. DJ Blu quote: “This is fire, people are fuckin with Doin Da Most on da first spin!!”

Ricco Barrino is from High Point, NC. With a very humble and determined mindset, Ricco learned to make every move count. A true star, his music has the ability to get everyone moving and shaking. With influences from Al Green, The Barrino Brother’s, Marvin Gaye, and Tina Turner, Ricco is able to create music that offers a different vibe yet carry a similar flavor to legendary artists.

Barrino released his first single, “Bubble Gum,” in 2007 which lead him ultimately to get a deal under Grand Hustle Records. Due to changes within the label Ricco’s contract expired, which lead him on a journey of being a independent artist. Five years later, Barrino came back full force and released the mixtape “Twenty 12 Play” hosted by North Carolina native DJ E-Sudd. A mixtape that Barrino takes pride in as it was his 1st project that he could fully express his thoughts to females and be free. Following the success of that Barrino is dominating the industry with his fresh new style, and latest project, “Music Evolution,” which was hosted by DJ Chuck, produced by Gino Valentino, Keith Mack, Gav Beats, and others, and released earlier this year on ITunes. His first single “Followers,” is a melodic ode dedicated to those who form crushes through social media. His follow-up “Drift” is a fast tempo track, rhythmic in sound with a catchy hook telling all ladies to “make *** drift”. Both are rapidly climbing the charts, and taking over ITunes one listener at a time.

When Barrino is not working on his own projects, he can be found making appearances on the tracks of high profile artist such as T.I’s “Porn Star,” B.O.B’s, “ 5th Dimension, and Bone Thugs-n-Harmony’s “ Gone,” or writing for his sister Fantasia, Missy Elliot, Trey Songz, Day 26, R Kelly and Angie Stone amongst many more.  He also co-wrote the closing song of Lee Daniels’ “The Butler”, “In The Middle of the Night” with Fantasia, Keith Mack, & Gino Valentino. A record he holds dear to his heart, due to it being placed on a movie that is not only impactful but inspirational as well.

Barrino’s uniqueness is what differentiates him from other artist, and gives him that star quality. His versatility and smooth demeanor is one that cannot be missed. He has a presence about him that touches the soul, but most importantly, he has the ability to produce music that will build a connection with his fans.
