Keri Hilson Ft. Chris Brown - One Night Stand

    Download Now!

Before she could utilize her talents for her own solo endeavors, R&B singer, vocal arranger, and songwriter Keri Hilson wrote a slew of songs, many of them chart-toppers, for several popular artists in the mid-2000s as part of the five-person production/songwriting team known as the Clutch. The dynamic songwriter was born in Decatur, GA, only a few miles outside of Atlanta. Addicted to TV talent shows like Star Search and Showtime at the Apollo, she was already plotting out her career in music at age 12. Even though her mother hired a piano teacher to encourage those talents, she mainly wanted to sing; therefore, Hilson converted those sessions into vocal lessons, accompanying the teacher on piano. In her mid- to late teens, she jump-started her career as a songwriter and background vocalist, working under producer Anthony Dent (Destiny's Child, Diddy). Born out of that relationship were two failed girl groups (named Pretty Toni and D'Sign) and, more importantly, a host of connections within the industry for whom she wrote or did backup vocals, including Usher, Ludacris, Kelly Rowland, Ciara, and up-and-coming Southern rap producer Polow da Don.After Hilson graduated from high school, she managed to continue juggling all these tasks when she enrolled at Emory University in Atlanta. She eventually moved on from Dent and began working more with Polow da Don. Attending school while actively advancing her music career put a great demand on her, especially from being a member of the extremely versatile Clutch team. But as luck would have it, Polow introduced her to superproducer Timbaland, who wasted no time in signing the multi-talented songbird to his growing Mosley Music imprint in 2006. Over the next couple years, Hilson's songwriting was practically ubiquitous, responsible for numerous hit singles, including Mary J. Blige's "Take Me as I Am," Omarion's "Ice Box," the Pussycat Dolls' "Wait a Minute," and Britney Spears' "Gimme More." She was also featured prominently on Timbaland Presents Shock Value, including the number three Billboard Hot 100 hit "The Way I Are."With Timbaland and Polow in her corner, Hilson relied on the vast pool of recording artists and producers who needed (and wanted) to return the favor for her Mosley Music/Interscope debut. After a couple pre-release singles and numerous delays, In a Perfect World... was issued in March 2009, shortly after one of its tracks, "Turnin' Me On," had reached the Top 20 of the Hot 100. The album eventually reached gold status, selling over 500,000 copies, and earned Hilson a pair of Grammy nominations. She made another string of guest appearances on Nas' "Hero," Trina's "Million Dollar Girl," and T.I.'s "Got Your Back," to name only a few of many prior to issuing her second album, No Boys Allowed, before the end of 2010.

Ak Lucci - Wait A Minute

    Download Now!

They say, "A natural hustler isn't created, but born to overcome any obstacle!" As a child of three brothers and one sister, AK Lucci had no choice but to use his natural instinct to defeat the odds. Born December 29th in Dayton,Ohio, AK always had a knack for getting money and providing for his family. His first hustle was buying blowpops for 10 cents and then flipping them for 25 cents a piece in 7th grade. Growing up as a class clown, people found themselves easily lured to AK; which allowed him to get money with little effort or stress.

Through several drastic situations in his inner-city neighborhood in Dayton, AK found an interest hustling narcotics. With the troubles of the dope game, he found himself moving to Atlanta with his older brother to embrace a new lifestyle. After studying the Atlanta night scene and culture, AK started promoting parties in some of the city's most respected nightclubs with several major artists. At these events, he would network and politic with industry executives, djs' and celebrities with a strong fascination with music. In 2005 he met neighborhood legend John "Hustleman" Que that later took a strong interest in AK and supported him in pursuing a career in the industry.

With a strong fan base and a new motivation with music, AK Lucci began recording to later find himself opening for several established artists. Some of these artist include Lil John, Devin Da Dude, The Youngbloods, 8ball & MJG, Da Brat and Three 6 Mafia. In 2008, AK met with hip-hop mogul and friend of the stars Mark "Biddy" Barnes. Biddy is infamous in Atlanta for throwing the biggest parties and working with major celebrities like Akon, Jermaine Dupri, Dipset, Verse Simmonds, Q Da Kid and several others. After recognizing his hunger and drive for success, Biddy signed AK to his Carte Blanche management team.

Now with the street buzzed mixtape "A Gangsta & A Gentleman", AK Lucci is focused on being one of the best in the game. With a passion to create reality, street music from first hand experiences AK has built a solid foundation with a strong credibility. As his own man, AK funds all of his own projects and continues to make strategic moves with an illusive management team behind him. Take note, AK is setting the mold on hustling and the standards to take over the the industry; quality street music is back!

DJ Drama Ft. Trey Songz, 2 Chainz & Big Sean - Oh My (Remix) (Produced by Drumma Boy)

    Download Now!

In this day and age, creativity and innovation are rare commodities, especially in pop culture. Yet that particular element is exactly what has made the Aphilliates’ own DJ Drama one of the nation’s premier DJs and what has led him to the type of success that has eluded many in his field. DJ Drama has not only made a name for himself as a mixtape and tour DJ, he has also changed the mixtape game in the South and Southeast, helping the region move in on a market once cornered by New York City. That may sound like a heavy burden to carry, but the 27-year-old, who began his career in his native Philadelphia in the early 90s, balances being an award-winning DJ, father, businessman and producer with ease.It is no surprise that DJ Drama has come to gain the national recognition he now enjoys. After hosting and spinning at some of Atlanta’s biggest events for the likes of Diddy, Allen Iverson, Lil’ Jon and Jermaine Dupri, DJ Drama became well known amongst industry tastemakers as one who’s soulful, eclectic style and ear for new talent could provide entertainment outside of the mainstream. The reputation he gained from his accomplishments in the Atlanta markets ha led to a national and international fan base which allows him to travel and perform at venues, events and universities across the globe. And thanks to an almost non-stop schedule as a tour DJ for a wide cross-section of artists – from Bahamadia and Slum Village to BME recording artist Lil’ Scrappy, he has been able to continue to build on that fan base. DJ Drama currently serves as the official DJ for Grand Hustle/Atlantic recording artist T.I., which placed him on two of the most successful Hip-Hop tours of 2004/2005: the Jay-Z and Friends Tour and Nelly’s Sweat/Suit Tour. But DJ Drama may be best known for his Gangsta Grillz mixtape series. With over twenty editions in the books, sixteen of which were released in 2005 alone, the series has become a coveted promotional opportunity for any artist seeking to strengthen their fan base in the streets and is recognized by the entertainment industry as one of the premier sources for the South’s best new talent. The series is responsible for Young Jeezy’s now legendary Trap or Die mixtape, along with three volumes hosted by T.I. & P$C – Gangsta Grillz Meets In The Streets – which redefined the concept of the Mixtape Album in the South; Gangsta Grillz: Down With The King, which introduced the group to new audiences, and Gangsta Grillz: The Indictment, which helped promote their Atlantic Records debut. Stat Quo, Rich Boy, Slick Pulla, Smitty, and Webbie also received the Gangsta Grillz seal of approval, allowing them to sustain a buzz while working on their major label debuts. But the series has also been co-signed by some of the biggest names in the game. DJ Drama has collaborated with such established figures as 8Ball & MJG, Bun B, Dame Dash, David Banner, Diddy, Lil’ Wayne, Paul Wall and Slim Thug. Gangsta Grillz is so well respected in the South that multi-platinum, Grammy award-winner Big Boi chose Gangsta Grillz X as his first mixtape hosting experience. Gangsta Grillz was named Vibe Magazine’s “Mixtape Series of the Year” in 2005; and Trap or Die has been recognized as XXL’s 2005 “Official Bootleg of the Year.” DJ Drama’s other mixtape series, Automatic Relaxtion, known for its creative blend of Neo-Soul and smooth Hip-Hop, has also been heralded by fans and critics alike. The success of his mixtape series kicked DJ Drama’s entrepreneurial spirit into overdrive. In addition to being distributed in 31 markets nationally, in Germany, and through countless internet sites, Grangsta Grillz has now become a brand. DJ Drama is currently preparing for the release of the Gangsta Grillz DVD Documentary entitled Respect The Game, produced by Gorrilla Flix; and recently inked a deal with Atlantic Records to release Gangsta Grillz The Album. And each and every Saturday night, the Aphilliates take over Radio-One’s WHTA Hot 107.9 in Atlanta with Gangsta Grillz Radio, which takes a new approach to the traditional radio format. This is the Aphilliates second radio show, joining their Sirius Satellite Radio program, Streetz Iz Watchin’, which airs on Shade 45 on Friday nights. With so many accomplishments, of course has come a bevy of media and industry accolades. DJ Drama was named “Best Mixtape DJ” by Hot 107.9; nominated for Justo’s Mixtape Awards’ “Best South DJ” in 2004 and 2005; and 2005’s “Mixtape DJ of the Year” at the MixShow Power Summit. In addition has been featured on BET’s 106 & Park and Rap City, MTV’s Spring Bling and Wildin’ Out, FOX’ The O.C. and MTV.com’s Mixtape Mondays. He has also graced the pages of Vibe, XXL. King, The Source, Rhime, Ozone, Spin, Urb, The Village Voice, and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, to name a few.The Aphilliates consists of six Atlanta-based turntablists who have taken the industry by storm. Founded in April 2003 by DJs DJ Drama, Sense and Don Cannon this marketing savvy unit has rapidly become an alliance by which all similar associations should be measured.

Lil Wayne Ft. Rick Ross - John (Produced By Polow Da Don)

    Download Now!

A game-changing artist and an impervious celebrity, Lil Wayne began as his career as a near-novelty — a preteen delivering hardcore hip-hop — but through years of maturation and reinventing the mixtape game, he developed into a million-selling rapper with a massive body of work, one so inventive and cunning that it makes his famous claim of being the "best rapper alive" worth considering. Born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr. and raised in the infamous New Orleans neighborhood of Hollygrove, he was a straight-A student but never felt his true intelligence was expressed through any kind of report card. He found music was the best way to express himself, and after taking the name Gangsta D he began writing rhymes. Combining a strong work ethic with aggressive self-promotion, the 11-year-old convinced the Cash Money label to take him on, even if it was just of odd jobs around the office. A year later, in-house producer Mannie Fresh partnered him with the 14-year-old B.G. and dubbed the duo the B.G.'z. Although only B.G.'s name appeared on the cover, the 1995 album True Story has since been accepted as the B.G.'z debut album both by fans and the Cash Money label. The 1997 album Chopper City was supposed to be the follow-up, but when Wayne accidentally shot himself in the chest with a .44, it became a solo B.G. release. That same year, he officially took the moniker Lil Wayne, dropping the "D" from his first name in order to separate himself from an absent father. He joined B.G., Juvenile, and Young Turk for another Fresh project, the teen hardcore rap group the Hot Boys, who released their debut album, Get It How U Live!, in 1997. Two years later, Cash Money would sign a distribution deal with the major-label Universal. Mainstream distribution would help that year's Hot Boys album Guerrilla Warfare to reach the number one spot on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In 1998, Lil Wayne would appear on Juvenile's hit single "Back That Thing Up," or "Back That Azz Up" as it appeared on Juvie's album 400 Degreez. Wayne would launch his solo career a year later with the album Tha Block Is Hot, featuring the hit single title track. It went double platinum but the rapper was still unknown to Middle America, since his hardcore rhymes and the rough Cash Money sound had not yet crossed over. His second album, Lights Out (2000), failed to match the success of its predecessor but it did go gold, and with an appearance on the Big Tymers' hit single "#1 Stunna," his audience was certainly growing. While Fresh was primarily responsible for launching his career, Wayne was now much closer to Fresh's fellow Big Tymer and Cash Money CEO Birdman. When Juvenile left the label, Wayne — or "Birdman Jr." as he was calling himself — showed his allegiance to his CEO by releasing an album with a title much hotter than Juvie's breakthrough effort. 500 Degreez landed in 2002 and while it went gold, rumors began flying about Cash Money's financial troubles and possible demise. The rest of the Hot Boys had defected and Wayne's planned 2003 album was scrapped, coming out instead as an underground mixtape called Da Drought.Wayne became enamored with the mixtape world after Da Drought drew so much attention from the hip-hop press. He used these underground releases to drum up anticipation for his next official album, the breakthrough effort Tha Carter. Released in 2004, the album seemed familiar on one hand with Mannie Fresh's production, but the Wayne on the cover was a dreadlocked surprise, and the rhymes he laid on the tracks showed significant growth. His marketing skills had become sharper, too, and it was no mistake that the album's hit single, "Go DJ," mentioned hip-hop's greatest tastemakers right in the title. It reached number five on the singles chart, and with a guest shot on Destiny's Child's number three single, "Soldier," Wayne had officially crossed over. On the flip side, his street cred was supported by a slew of mixtapes released in 2005, including the popular titles Dedication with DJ Drama and Tha Suffix with DJ Khaled. Cash Money's future was no longer in doubt and traditional music business rules no longer seemed to apply, as tracks would be leaked onto the Internet and various DJs' mixtapes. "Get Something" was another bold move, as a Universal-funded video was made without the track ever seeing official release. With his alternative marketing scheme working in overdrive, the 2005 landing of Tha Carter II was a major event, selling over a quarter-million copies the week of its release. "Fireman" and "Shooter" with Robin Thicke were released as singles, while the album — which for the first time featured no Mannie Fresh productions — went platinum. It also introduced his Young Money posse, with appearances from Curren$y and Nicki Minaj, and initially came with a bonus disc featuring Wayne's greatest hits screwed and chopped by Swishahouse DJ Michael "5000" Watts. A year later he collaborated with Birdman for the Like Father, Like Son album, featuring the hit single "Stuntin' Like My Daddy." His mixtapes were still flooding the underground, including the stunning Dedication 2, which came with an iconic image of the rapper on the cover plus the much talked-about track "Georgia...Bush," a venomous response to President George W. Bush's handling of the Katrina disaster. With no official follow-up to Tha Carter II in sight, numerous collaborative tracks kept the rapper in the mainstream with "Gimme That" by Chris Brown, "Make It Rain" by Fat Joe, and "Duffle Bag Boy" by Playaz Circle becoming three of the biggest hits.Tha Carter III was promised for 2007 but didn't arrive until a year later, setting off Wayne's infamous reputation of delayed releases. Part of the problem became unauthorized leaks of the album's tracks, something combated by the official, downloadable EP The Leak released that same year. Preceded by the number one hit "Lollipop," Tha Carter III arrived in May of 2008, selling more than a million copies in its first week of release. An appearance on Saturday Night Live and four Grammy awards — including Best Rap Album — spoke to Wayne's mainstream acceptance. He also performed at that year's Country Music Awards with Kid Rock, but rather than rap, he played guitar. The guitar playing was part of Wayne's new involvement with rock music, including his help in signing Kevin Rudolf to Cash Money plus an appearance on Rudolf's massive hit "Let It Rock." His planned rock album was previewed with the 2009 single "Prom Queen," but when the album failed to meet its promised April release, the music press began to portray the rapper as the king of missed street dates. Unconcerned, Wayne forged ahead with his Young Money crew, releasing the underground mixtape Young Money Is the Army, Better Yet the Navy, the aboveground single "Every Girl," plus the official album We Are Young Money that same year. His rock album, Rebirth, would finally appear in early 2010, which coincided with Wayne being sentenced to a nine-month prison term for criminal possession of a weapon. The rapper may have been behind bars on Riker’s Island, but that didn’t stop his ten-song EP I Am Not a Human Being from seeing the light of day in September that same year.

Monica Ft. Rick Ross & Lil Kim - Anything To Find You (Produced By Missy Elliott)

    Download Now!

Cherish it - because again, not only is it from Monica, the Grammy Award winning singer and actress who's sold more than 10 million copies of her previous three albums, but it is what she declares "a real representation of who I am and what my life is like now. It reflects the last 11 years inside and outside of the industry. It allows people to know me. Finally."Let’s start with her foundation.Remember, she is from the A - Born, raised and never lived anywhere else but Atlanta. So the Jermaine Dupri-produced first single "Everytime Tha Beat Drop" should really come as no surprise." 'Beat Drop', for me, is a real good representation of where I'm from," Monica says of the call to the dancefloor she crafted with Atlanta's snap music pioneers, Dem Franchize Boyz. "Plus I really liked having a record that kids can enjoy. My music has always had a message. I guess it's been just a personality thing - I've always been extremely mature for my age. Always been kind of deep. But sometimes that goes right over the kids' heads. And we all just want to dance and have fun. This is what I live. What I dance to. What I listen to when I'm in my car. So I thought, 'Why wouldn't I sing over it?' "On this foundation, Monica has built quite the reputation for brutal honesty — from “Don’t Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days)” to “First Night” to “Knock Knock” and “U Should’ve Known Better.”“My audience respects my honesty,” she reminds us. “They trust that what comes out of my mouth truly comes from my heart.”And falling right in the disc changer with those singles is "Sideline Ho."In the Underdogs-produced dagger, she asks: "Ain't you tired of spending all the holidays alone?"And then comes back and digs deeper with: "It don't matter if he spends the night, his home's somewhere else...If you don't make his breakfast, you's a 'Sideline Ho!'"Myself, Damon [Thomas], Harvey [Mason Jr.] and Tank came up with that. I was telling Tank about a situation where an ex of mine blatantly, openly cheated - as if people didn't know who his girlfriend was! And just the sound of her name would make my flesh crawl. So he was like, 'Well what did you call her?' I said, 'She has no name. She has no importance.' And Tank walked back into the room and said, 'The name of this song is 'Sideline Ho.'"Why Her," also produced by Monica's longtime musical associate Jermaine Dupri, is what she calls her post-'Sideline Ho' song. "After the anger of being cheated on, instead of healing and moving forward, we get mired in all of these questions. At that point in my situation I was like, 'What was it? I don't see anything visually any better. I don't know anything any better about her. She's struggling to work on video sets. And I'm in disarray."I don't care what people say, people always look at themselves, ask themselves those kinds of questions once somebody cheats. That's just how love works. It doesn't cut off at the sight of a mistake. We're all like, 'Does he live with her now? Do you think they're going to have kids?' Just vulnerable."Now that's an adjective rarely used to describe Monica in her decade-plus in the business. Not the 24-year-old who was introduced to the world in 1995 on an album titled "Miss Thang." "People assume nothing affects me," she concedes. "And I am extremely strong-natured. I stand with both feet planted firmly and don't bend. But I know now sometimes I need to bend. 'Hell No' (produced by the Grammy-nominated Bryan-Michael Cox) shows that side of me that's a lot more sensitive. And vulnerable."And may we add, adaptable. Not only does the rapper so fast he's in the Guinness Book of World Records appear on "Hell No." But Monica matches Twista - zip for zip."I never thought I would be able to pick up his flow in any shape, form or fashion," she recalls. "But he said the same thing Missy's always saying to me - 'You're a slick talker. You never run out of words.' So he wrote my verse and he rapped it in spaces, in little bite-sized chunks. And I would rap it back, until I learned it. It took about two hours but I'm so glad I did it. It was a good experience, an example of why my mom always taught us not to use the word 'can't.' At 24 I am still learning lessons." But look at how she’s already applied those lessons, and what she’s become thus far: Her loveliness can be heard in one of her fourth CD's vocal standouts: "Get Away." The spare, dramatic force begins: "I started out as a little girl. Singing songs changed my world." And before you know, Monica's sharing her life with you - inside and out:"I give so much of me/When is time for me to receive? "It's not as easy as it seems/And to think, this was my dream." "Jermaine always knows exactly how I feel about things," Monica says. "And I felt this way most when my first love died. Him committing suicide changed my life in a lot of ways. It brought me closer to what I was raised with, which is a Christian family. It brought me closer to God, which is where I need to be. And it made me wish for the first time in my entire life that I was a normal person, with a normal job, who could take time off to grieve. I had to learn to live with my situation in front of the public's eye. But in the recording of this song, I was to myself. In the 11 years I've been in this industry I didn't think such a place existed. And physically I don't think it does. But mentally it's there, in this song." Loving pulses through "Doin' Me Right," her Missy Elliott-produced tribute to a guy who makes seven figures, talks slicker and is an, a-hem, tongue-flicker."That kind of song is a bit different for me," Monica says playfully. "But if you haven't heard, I have a son. And he didn't get here like Jesus. Some things have taken place. And I think the song is a nice way of saying how I certainly feel." "Dozen Roses," however, is exactly how she feels. She's in love. "I be losing my mind every time I look at you," she says in another Missy production, made even dreamier by a sample of Curtis Mayfield’s “The Makings of You.” "You've got style just like a Bentley coupe.... You're just like my rims, you shine." "Like I said, 'Dozen Roses' personifies where I am right now," Monica says. "Who I am right now."And to think, much of The Makings of Monica happened right before our eyes: The three million-selling debut and the hit singles - "Don't Take It Personal (Just One of Dem Days)" and "Before You Walk Out of My Life" - that made her the youngest female artist ever to have two back-to-back No. 1 hits on Billboard's R&B singles chart. (Both of which also topped its Hot 100 pop charts and earned a million in sales.) The million-selling contribution to the 1997 "Space Jam" soundtrack "For You I Will." Then came her 1998 CD "The Boy Is Mine," which not only had three consecutive No. 1 Billboard pop singles (the title track, "Angel of Mine" and "First Night"), but the title track with Brandy spent 13 weeks at No. 1 on the pop charts, and 8 at No. 1 on the R&B listing. Not to mention the duet earned Monica a Grammy to add to her American Music, Soul Train and Billboard Awards. Then there was her last million-selling CD "After the Storm." All of which she managed while acting in the MTV movie "Love Song," the Miramax movie "Boys and Girls" and most recently, Warner Bros/Overbrook’s "ATL."The Makings of Me is the least Monica could give you for so much support over so many projects. Then again, The Makings of Me is ALL Monica is.

Meek Mill Ft. Rick Ross - Tupac Back (Produced By Mike Will & Eardrummers)

    Download Now!

Raw, gritty and talented describe the lyrical talents of Rapper Meek Mill. His skills are so natural that he has a flow like no other. Born May 6, 1987 under the astrological sign of Taurus, Robert Rahmeek Williams adopted the rap name “Meek Mill” after family and friends from his neighborhood kept referencing him by his middle name. Meek is coined as the latest rap phenomenon to come out of the city of Philadelphia.Raised in the North Philadelphia section of the city with his sister and inspired by his mother and father; who died when he was five, Meek Mill began taking the rap game seriously at the age of 12 after losing a street battle to neighboring rappers. He says his desire to rap grew after watching his uncle Philly hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Nell. While hanging out in his neighborhood, Meek met three guys and formed the group, “BloodHoundz,” which consisted of Mel Love, Dat Nigga Lil and Young Pooh. The group lasted for fives years and Meek ventured on his own.

With a solo career in tow, Meek became one of Philadelphia’s hottest underground rap artists on an independent label. In 2007, Meek debuted his Flamerz series, which stands for hottest songs and released his first mix tape, Flamerz 1, which featured the hit single, “In My Bag.”In 2008, Meek debuted the highly anticipated Flamerz 2 –“Hottest In The City,” which showcased more of his lyrical abilities with the singles, “I'm So Fly,” “Prolli,” and “Hottest In The City.” Upon release of Flamerz 2, it caught the attention of founder and President of 215Aphillyated Records, Charlie Mack. Mack was immediately impressed with Meek that he signed him to his management company. During the same year, he met the founder and owner of Grand Hustle, TI. TI was impressed with his lyrical ability that he offered him an opportunity to travel to Los Angeles to meet with him along with the Warner Brothers Records, within one week both record companies offered him a deal. Meek was overwhelmed by the offers; however, he felt collaborating with TI was an opportunity of a lifetime and chose his label. An ecstatic Meek was on top of the world; a record deal and the chance to work with one of hip hop’s greatest rappers and then a set back occurred. He was arrested, charged with a crime and order to serve seven months in jail.Meek pre-released three singles from his third mix tape Flamerz 2.5 – “The Preview” in August of 2009, which featured the chart topping hits, “Make ‘Em Say,” “Imma Da Ish,” featuring Ms. Jade and “Starting Something,” in honor Michael Jackson. Within the first two weeks of its release, Clear Channel added it to their play list, which is an anomaly in the music business. In June of 2009, Meek began immediately working on his freshman album – Flamerz 3, “Hottest In America – Gangster Grill Edition,” hosted by DJ Drama and featuring the songs: “Baby Girl,” “Hottest In America,” and “I’m Killin em.” The highly anticipated cd is set to be released on January 19, 2010. Despite his stint in jail, Meek’s fans remained loyal, he currently boasts of 13 million hits on MySpace and 20 million viewers on You Tube.In the future, Meek plans to establish the Meek Mill Foundation, which will mentor young males between the ages of 12-24 on the importance of “Education over Incarceration.” He also plans to collaborate with United Community Action Network and the Lifers of Graterford Prison to address the violence plaguing our cities.

Just100 Ft. Tity Boi Aka 2 Chainz - Oh Yea

    Download Now!

The artist Just100 is a talented, hard working independent MC hailing from High Point, NC. Over the past few years he has released some of the most diverse mixtapes the south has ever seen. Starting in 2008, after realizing the drama the streets bring and dealing with the crushing loss of his father, he felt it necessary get a lot pain off his chest, and released his debut EP Tax Free Mafia. "I had no commercial intentions with the TaxFreeMafia EP, stuff was Just so thick over the course of the last year I had to vent. It was the most constructive thing I could do without being all out reckless in the streets." The eight song EP takes listeners through a dark, aggressive, tunnel starting with the lyrical onslaught of 'Eighty', then the call to keep it a '100' over the eerie, Smitty produced masterpiece 'Say No More'. The EP concludes with some semblance of light through the fog of life on the introspective, Sinima Beats produced 'Talking to Myself'. With the EP Just 100 was able to clear his head & reconcile his inner demons to find peace.

Through this new found understanding, Just saw that his skill as an MC had not left or betrayed him, he followed Tax Free Mafia up in the Spring of '09 with the ironically titled mixtape 'Thank You For Smoking'. On the mixtape Just set his creativity loose, expanding his subject matter and taking his songwriting seriously. The mixtape, composed of various freestyles, utilizes classic hip-hop tracks like BK inspired 'Still No Half Steppin' and the shout out to the God on 'Paid in Full '09'. "That's who (sic) Kane/Rakim, inspired me so it wasn't like I was going out of my way to be different, its Just that those are the types of records that set a standard and I felt like rockin 'em." Giving us a glimpse of his meteoric growth as an artist, Just explores a totally different chamber on the TrackBangas produced, Surgeon General Warning about fickle friends 'After the Love'. "I wanted to confront the crabs head on as well as take a risk with that record. I'm glad I did, the response was so powerful on that record...it told me to keep pushing, & that I had discovered something".

With that mindset Just hopes to further elevated his craft with a new album, "Hitzville USA". "It has been along time coming and hopefully with this project heads will take notice and say oh yea ? That guy from NC, spits heat and makes hits! I don't want to be placed in a certain column. I don't think hip-hop was ever designed that way. I've sat back and watched these dudes get away with a lot of corny music , but I think like our previous election the people are ready for change." As we all watched and saw this dedicated artist grow before our very eyes, in 2010 Just100, caught up with Digital Product to release a collection of trunk thumpers with lyrical flows to match on "The Underworld". The street single, “Shoe Box Money"(produced by SuperStar O), sparked an incredible buzz throughout the south & midwest as Justo proclaimed "The Underworld mixtape is hiphop in it's finest tradition."

Now Justo has teamed up with "The Golden Child Dj E Sudd" to release the highly anticipated mixtape "Self Made/MadeMan" . “No features, No skits, No gimmicks! Just straight up hip-hop!“ was the direction Justo saught to pursue. Seven tracks that are sure to please including the standouts "Cloud Nine" and the title track "SelfMadeMadeMan". The response was so incredible Justo grabbed 2Chainz for the "Oh Yea" remix (produced by TrackBangas) this summer making it even hotter. Not one to rest on his laurels Just100 promises that there is much more in store for 2011. Are you 100 ? Get ready !!!

Kanye West & Jay-Z Ft. Otis Redding - Otis (Produced By Kanye West)

    Download Now!

In the span of three short years, Kanye West went from hip-hop beatmaker to worldwide hitmaker, as his stellar production work for Jay-Z led to a major-label recording contract and, ultimately, a wildly successful solo career. West paired his beats with tongue-twisting raps and a self-assured, flamboyant personality. His dapper fashion sense set him apart from many of his rap peers, and his confidence often came across as boastful or even egotistical, albeit amusingly so. This flamboyance, of course, made for good press, something that West enjoyed in spades during his sudden rise to celebrity status. He was a media darling, appearing and performing at countless awards shows (and winning at them, too), delivering theatrical videos to MTV, and mouthing off about whatever happened to cross his mind. He frequently spoke out against the rampant homophobia evident in much rap music, posed for the cover of Rolling Stone as Jesus Christ, and even claimed during a televised Hurricane Katrina fundraiser that "George Bush doesn't care about black people." West courted controversy, no question about it, but his steady presence in the celebrity limelight couldn't eclipse his musical talent. His production abilities seemed boundless during his initial surge of activity, as he not only racked up impressive hits for himself (including "Jesus Walks" and "Gold Digger"), but also collaborated on smash hits with the likes of Jay-Z and Ludacris. As his career progressed throughout the early 21st century, West shattered certain stereotypes about rappers, becoming a superstar on his own terms without adapting his appearance, his rhetoric, or his music to fit any one musical mold.Coming out of left field (i.e., Chicago, a city rarely praised for its hip-hop exports), West was an unlikely sensation and more than once defied adversity. Like so many others who were initially inspired by Run-D.M.C., he began as just another aspiring rapper with a boundless passion for hip-hop, albeit a rapper with a Midas touch when it came to beatmaking. Indeed, it was his beatmaking prowess that got his foot in the industry door. Though he did quite a bit of noteworthy production work during the late '90s (Jermaine Dupri, Foxy Brown, Mase, Goodie Mob), it was West's work for Roc-a-Fella at the dawn of the new millennium that took his career to the next level. Alongside fellow fresh talent Just Blaze, West became one of the Roc's go-to producers, consistently delivering hot tracks to album after album. His star turn came on Jay-Z's classic Blueprint (2001) with album standouts "Takeover" and "Izzo (H.O.V.A.)." Both songs showcased West's signature beatmaking style of the time, which was largely sample-based; in these cases, the former track appropriating snippets of the Doors' "Five to One," while the latter sampled the Jackson 5's "I Want You Back."More high-profile productions followed, and before long word spread that West was going to release an album of his own, on which he planned to rap as well as produce. Unfortunately, that album was a long time coming, pushed back and then pushed back again. It didn't help that West was in a tragic car accident in October 2002 that almost cost him his life. He capitalized on the traumatic experience by using it as the inspiration for "Through the Wire" (and its corresponding video), which would later become the lead single for his debut album, 2004's The College Dropout. As the album was continually delayed, West continued to churn out big hits for the likes of Talib Kweli ("Get By"), Ludacris ("Stand Up"), Jay-Z ("'03 Bonnie & Clyde"), and Alicia Keys ("You Don't Know My Name"). Then, just as "Through the Wire" was breaking big-time at the tail-end of 2003, another West song caught fire, a collaboration with Twista and comedian/actor Jamie Foxx called "Slow Jamz," which gave the rapper/producer two simultaneously ubiquitous singles and a much-anticipated debut album. As with so many of West's songs, the singles were driven by somewhat recognizable sample-based hooks: Chaka Khan's "Through the Fire" in the case of "Through the Wire," and Luther Vandross' "A House Is Not a Home" in the case of "Slow Jamz."In the wake of his breakout success, West earned a whopping ten nominations at the 47th annual Grammy Awards, held in early 2005. The College Dropout won the Best Rap Album award, "Jesus Walks" won Best Rap Song, and a songwriting credit on "You Don't Know My Name" for Best R&B Song award was shared with Alicia Keys and Harold Lilly. Later that year, West released his second solo album, Late Registration, which spawned a series of hit singles ("Diamonds in Sierra Leone," "Gold Digger," "Heard 'Em Say," "Touch the Sky"). The album topped the charts, as did the "Gold Digger" single, and Late Registration eventually won a Grammy for Album of the Year. West's production work continued more or less unabated during this time; particularly noteworthy were hits for Twista ("Overnight Celebrity"), Janet Jackson ("I Want You"), Brandy ("Talk About Our Love"), the Game ("Dreams"), Common ("Go!"), and Keyshia Cole ("I Changed My Mind"). West also founded his own label, GOOD Music (i.e., "Getting Out Our Dreams"), in conjunction with Sony BMG. The label's inaugural release was John Legend's Get Lifted (2004), followed one year later by Common's Be. In addition to all of his studio work, West also toured internationally in support of Late Registration and released Late Orchestration: Live at Abbey Road Studios (2006) in commemoration. After retreating from the spotlight for some time, West returned to the forefront of the music world in 2007 with a series of album releases. Consequence's Don't Quit Your Day Job and Common's Finding Forever, both released by GOOD, were chiefly produced by West; the latter proved to be particularly popular, topping the album chart upon its release in July. And then there was West's third solo album, Graduation, which was promoted well in advance of its September 11 release (a memorable date that pitted Kanye against 50 Cent, who in one interview swore he would quit music if his own album, Curtis, wasn't the top-seller). A pair of singles — "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Stronger," the latter an interpolation of Daft Punk's 2001 single "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" — led the promotional push. It became his third consecutive chart-topping album, and its success culminated in eight Grammy nominations. West was the victor in four of the categories, and he performed two songs during the ceremony, including Late Registration's "Hey Mama," chosen in honor of his recently deceased mother. That loss, compounded by a breakup with his fiancée, informed 2008's 808s & Heartbreak, a major change of pace that saw West singing most of his emotionally pained lyrics with the assistance of Auto-Tune. As polarizing as it was, it went platinum. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, most of which was recorded in Hawaii and involved guest vocal spots from the likes of Nicki Minaj, Kid Cudi, Rick Ross, and the RZA, was released in November 2010. It was preceded by the bombastic, King Crimson-sampling single "Power."

Game Ft. Chris Brown - Pot Of Gold (Produced By The Futuristics)

    Download Now!

Compton's own the Game (aka Hurricane Game) issued his debut LP, The Documentary, in 2004 through Aftermath/G-Unit/Universal. With everyone from Dr. Dre and 50 Cent to Nate Dogg, Kanye West, and Just Blaze contributing to the album, The Documentary made it clear from the outset that geographic squabbles weren't a part of the Game's agenda. Rapping hadn't been at first, either. Having gotten involved in the drug trade after a rough childhood, it took being shot during a home invasion to cause an epiphany in the Game. Inspired by N.W.A, The Chronic, Doggystyle, and classic albums from 2Pac, the Notorious B.I.G., and Jay-Z, the Game began rapping in 2001 and never looked back. His barbed and bold freestyles caught the ear of Dre, who signed him to Aftermath in 2003 and executive produced his debut. It was delayed a few times, but The Documentary finally dropped in January 2005. Soon the Game and 50 Cent were at war over the former's reluctance to beef with any and every enemy of G-Unit. Freestyles and mixtapes were spawned in amazing amounts from both sides, and every time a truce seemed possible, things fell apart at the last minute. Dr. Dre was stuck in the middle, and while he never publicly denounced the Game, he passed on working with the rapper for his next effort. Despite Dre's absence, the Game's sophomore release kept its original title of Doctor's Advocate when it was released in late 2006. Two years later, LAX was released. With fewer mentions of Dr. Dre and 50 Cent, the uneven album found the rapper moving on from his previous obsessions. After periods of retirement talk, the MC had a change of heart and began recording The R.E.D. Album ("R.E.D." being short for "rededicated"), for a planned 2010 release.

Born Antoine McColister in Port St. Lucie, FL, Ace Hood was raised by his mother in Deerfield Beach, a part of Miami's metro area. Rap music became his full-time obsession after he suffered a football injury in the tenth grade, effectively putting the kibosh on any professional sports career. By age 17, he was recording tracks for local imprint Dollaz & Dealz and had a few street singles put out, including 2006's "M.O.E." (i.e., "Money Over Everything"). In November of the following year, Ace maneuvered his way into meeting DJ Khaled at local radio station 99 Jamz and handed the Miami mixtape DJ his demo. Within a matter of weeks, DJ Khaled signed Ace, then 19 years old, as the first artist to his newly formed We the Best Music, which obtained distribution through Def Jam a few weeks after that. Ace's Def Jam debut single, the Runners-produced "Cash Flow," featuring Rick Ross and ubiquitous hook singer T-Pain, arrived in early 2008 and turned out to be a smash hit on South Florida radio. A few mixtapes and guest appearances later, he released his first full-length, Gutta, in summer 2008. Ruthless followed the next year and, like its predecessor, peaked at number five on Billboard, Rovi

    Money Jay - Blowing

    Download Now!

When Money Jay boasts that he’s “strapped up like the military,” on his hit single “Death

Row,” he isn’t just saying that to be saying it. As the newest soldier on Akon’s Konvict Music

label, he is more than equipped to declare war on anybody standing in his path to rap dominance.

Born Tysen Bolden in the Bronx, New York, Money Jay moved to Decatur, Georgia at the age of

two. His stay-at-home mother and truck driver father sought solace in the South, hoping to raise

their family in a safer and slower environment. But trouble knows no borders.

“My folks had three other kids so there wasn’t a lot of money to go around,” admits Jay. “Folks

used to roast me on my clothes so I wound up getting in a lot of fights. I knew I had to get my

own if I wanted to be somebody. So after that, I started hustling.”

Whether it was candy or weed, the young Money Jay was already building a reputation as a

hustler making money by the time he hit 7th grade. This led to his hanging with and picking up

the habits of the older street dealers that he idolized growing up; habits that included carrying

guns. In the 9th grade, Jay was expelled from high school for gun possession, which only gave

him more free time to roam the streets.

A couple of wrong turns eventually landed him on the wrong side of the law a few times. It

wasn’t until he saw his close friends and family getting jammed up with years-long bids that he

decided that this was not the route he wanted to take.

“Everyone around me was getting locked up,” says Jay. “They would call me from jail everyday

and I didn’t want to end up in the same boat so I turned to music to try and leave all that illegal

    bullshit alone.”

Like anyone else that’s grown up in the 80′s and 90′s, rap music was a dominant influence on

Money Jay’s life. He used to write down raps in school and share them with friends, which led

to him actually recording some of his lyrics over beats. By age 16, he built a home studio and

started making and distributing his own mixtapes. Though music still wasn't his main focus, the

product spread, demand grew and over time Money Jay’s music was getting spins in some of

Atlanta’s most popular nightclubs. Ironically, it was a daytime occurrence that led to Jay being in

    the position he is now.

“One day I was out hustling on Glenwood Road, and Akon came to the spot,” remembers Jay.

“He got a CD from me, drove off and then came right back saying he wanted to sign me. Even

then I wasn’t taking the music serious, and he could tell. But he always told me that I should.”

Akon remembers, “As soon as I got in the car, something told me to put his CD on. Once I

heard it, I hit a U-turn and went back asking if this was really him rapping. When he told me it

was, I wanted to sign him on the spot; but I knew he was still hustling so I let him know that if

he got serious, I wanted him on my team.”

Akon’s advice fell on deaf ears initially as Jay opted to keep one foot in the streets. It wasn’t until

his younger brother was incarcerated that he started paying full attention. Keeping in contact

with Akon, Jay finally left the streets alone and let him know he was ready to be a Konvict

recording artist. Since then, the musical partnership has been nothing short of promising.

The first song from the upcoming CD is Money Jay’s surging single “Death Row.” The track is

one part club-banger, one part salute to his brother and closest friends’ legal problems.

“One day I was at the crib, watching 2Pac perform “Hit ‘Em Up,” says Jay about the inspiration

behind the Sonny Digital-produced banger. “Knowing how I am and what I’ve been through,

seeing that performance made me feel like I would’ve been signed with Death Row at their

    prime.”

While Death Row is now a thing of the past, Money Jay aims to keep that spirit alive with his

future at Akon’s Konvict Music label. Well equipped with the voice, street cred and most

importantly music to become rap’s next big thing, it shouldn’t be long before someone else is

watching Money Jay on TV and getting inspired in the same way.

As the second release from the upcoming LP Proper Introduction, “The Way It Goes,” allows the audience to see Cal Ripken from a slightly different angle than his club friendly first single, “Non Stop.” Still ready to party, handle the ladies coming his way, and pass on the notion of moderation, this song sounds more like a man who is comfortable in his own skin than a young man being reckless because he’s young.

    Lady - Casey Anthony

    Download Now!

Fresh off the success of her first mixtape “BItch From Around the Way” and “Bitch From Around the Way II” LADY produced a collaborative mixtape “ Jack Yo Shit”, full of hit tracks with her signature voice and attitude. With the recent success of her track “Im On It” featuring Plies & Jerimih. Lady has a whole lot in store for the Rap Game.

LADY, born Shameka Brown, has always had a way with words. Whether giving speeches, writing poetry, or just telling a story; the way she told it made you visualize her struggle. "Mama told me I had a slick mouth and it'd get me in a lot of trouble", say's Lady. Even though she was right, it also granted her with the musical ability like no other. Lady didn't really notice her lyrical power until the age of 11.

Lady went from creating her own spins on hot songs to writing her on music. Soon in 2002, she formed a group with 2 friends and started rapping locally mainly at school. “Yep we had lunch room concerts and I was the main attraction" said Lady. Being well known for her hardcore rhymes and cocky delivery, beating on the tables for beats, and spitting rhymes like she was the headliner at a concert, Lady realized that she was serious about doing more with the music she's grown to love.

The lyrical vixen branched off and joined forces with a local Drug Boss and began concentrating on building her music portfolio. Soon after in 2005, the police shut the operation down and Lady was back at square one. Turning to the working force, Lady took a little vacation from music not realizing what fate would her in store for the elevation of her career.

Now in 2009 and 20 years young, Lady said “Hasta La Vista” to a 9 to 5 and kicks in the door to the music industry full time. With her city, Talbotton, GA and family backing her 100% there is nothing standing in her way of success. Hard work seems to be the trending ethic and epithet of our generation. But what people seldom remember is that work minus brilliance and sacrifice equals… well simply just “work”. Enter Jeff Johnson. On the surface, it seems as if he is only a Mid-West emcee. Moved to Kentucky from St. Croix in 1989 when his father was diagnosed with brain cancer; fell in love with hip-hop in California, started putting out his own rap CD’s while in High School every year of his matriculation, and till this day he hasn’t stop making the music he loves; boasting a catalogue of songs that perhaps will eventually need its own publishing company to nurture and protect them.

LADY, born Shameka Brown, has always had a way with words. Whether giving speeches, writing poetry, or just telling a story; the way she told it made you visualize her struggle. "Mama told me I had a slick mouth and it'd get me in a lot of trouble" say's Lady.

Yep we had lunch room concerts and I was the main attraction" say's Lady. Being well known for her hardcore rhymes and cocky delivery, beating on the tables for beats, and spitting rhymes like she was the headliner at a concert, Lady then realized that she was talented and was serious about doing more with the music she's grown to love.

Now in 2009 and 20 years young, Lady said Hasta La Vista to a 9 to 5 and kicks in the door to the music industry full time. With her city, Talbotton, GA and family backing her 100% there is nothing standing in her way of success. Lady's determination and raw talent landed her the attention of business Mogul "Big Gates," who is the brother and manager of National Recording Artist, "Plies". "Lady is going to change the game!

    Will Vill - Ashes

    Download Now!

From the newest of the new jacks to the most seasoned of the vets, every rapper has something to say about how the game has changed. Will Vill has plenty to say himself, but unlike so many others, hes not here to complain about how so-and-so dropped the ball or how the freshman class isnt real enough. Sure, the New York native wants to make some changes to the landscape, but instead of complaining and hoping for things to change on their own, Will chooses to stick to a simple principle earn respect through hard work and dedication.

Even at the early stages of his career, Will had the kind of success that would make most rappers get lazy. Fed up with the escalation in police brutality he witnessed in New York City, Will crafted the powerful Devil in a Blue Dress. His politically charged lyrics gained the attention of some of the games best-known scholars and paved the way for performances with Mos Def, Dead Prez and The Roots. With tracks like Devils in a Blue Dress and Same Year, Different Number, Wills voice broke through the usual boundaries of Hip-Hop and earned him recognition in Esquire and The New York Times.

Wills debut album, The Arrival, took things a step further as he used the sixteen tracks to show his diversity. He told dramatic tales on Dreams of Getting Murdered and recited poetry on Wishes, all the while reminding the competition of his dominance with Keep it Gritty. Will represents proudly both for the Dominican Republic and Washington Heights, bringing not only his experience and perspective to each track but the spirit of every man, woman and child from those places that created him.

Never content to sit back and relax, Will continued to work at his craft. He came back even harder in 2010 starting with his singles Cop Shot and Man Listen which were college radio hits. Those singles were followed up by the release of the mixtape Hood World Order hosted by DJ Noodles and distributed by Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes. Wills momentum continued throughout the rest of 2010 with the release of the video for Cop Shot and his second mixtape I Came to Bring the Sword hosted by Superstar Jay.

Backed by Barrio Jamz in the office and legendary producers such as Lord Finesse and Sly & Robbie in the booth, Will Vill is in the strongest position hes ever been and hes ready to take advantage. The mixtape Verbal Violence hosted by DJ Young Cee of the G-Unit/Shadyville team, and the singles Ashes produced by Lord Finesse, Not A Game featuring Roc Marciano, Get Fresh and Fahrenheit 451 featuring Avery Storm are on deck to usher in the new album Mangattan and help him burn through 2011 and beyond.

A lot of emcees talk about going for the crown but its usually pretty hard to tell what makes them think they deserve it. Will Vill knows hes not there yet, but he knows how hes going to get there and better yet, he has the integrity to respect Hip-Hop the way he wants Hip-Hop to respect him. Line by line, track by track and album by album, Will continues to cement his position and display the kind of work ethic thats become too rare these days. Plain and simple, Will Vill is serious give him your attention or he will take it.

The irreverent group began to cultivate a strong internet presence, releasing videos through their YouTube page and releasing four mixtapes, Who Is Travis Porter?, I’m a Differenter, I’m a Differenter 2, and Streets R’Us in 2009. The group caused some controversy that year when they inadvertently released a Roscoe Dash single they did a guest spot on, “All the Way Turnt Up,” on one of their own tapes. Dash eventually re-recorded the song with Soulja Boy and released the new version the following year. After releasing three more mixtapes, Proud 2 Be a Problem, I Am Travis Porter, and Differenter Gang, in 2010, the band found themselves being courted by labels hoping to bring them to a larger audience. KC Jockey - Toast To The Dads

    Download Now!

His cool is undeniable; it evokes a calm and settled speech. His charm is contagious; it fills an otherwise bleak room with joy. He alleviates unwanted tension and his spirit simply put, is godly. He is truly a gift born from unceremonious circumstances. He combines the musical crossover success of Sean Paul, Shaggy and recent pop breakthrough Sean Kingston, while consistently delivering his own signature call and response that devout fans pine for. Even deeper, he incorporates the storytelling elements of R&B King R. Kelly and has been likened to a masculine adaptation of hip-hop soul Princess Keyshia Cole. Royalty aside though, he is the determined international pop wunderkind, KC Jockey.

KC Jockey's musical dexterity is second to none, which is in part how he came to be artistically. His capacity to attune his vocal delivery to any beat, in any genre, has indefinitely catapulted his star and naturally birthed success abroad. His forthcoming album (untitled as yet), sparked by the Kenny "Smoov" Kornegay produced "Rub Your Body," is a testament to his proverbial skills and indefinable style. A fresh, unique blend of honesty and reflection, "Rub Your Body," hits a nerve and doesn't stop tingling until the very last bar.

"When they classify me as a reggae/dancehall artist, it's cool, 'cause that's my people and that's my culture; but I am more of an international artist," he explains. "I got so much international stuff within me. I'm more than just that."

Previously, KC Jockey proved it by churning out chart topping installments that made noise in the states and abroad. "SHAKE," an explosive collaboration finds KC Jockey pairing with pop sensation Santalina. The contagious track earned over 200,000 myspace plays and the equally sexy video found its way to BET.com. Moreover, it was played in 40 European countries in over 120 million homes in a single month.

More recently, "Runway Bounce," was the subject of six internationally recognized record pools, toppling the UK Reggae Charts multiple times, as did "Talk of the Town." Additionally, "Runway Bounce" reached No. 9 on the Yacast France Charts.

The bouncy "Don't Go Baby," which is shaping up as a second single from KC Jockey's imminent offering, is a classic message that transcends all races and genres. The chorus finds KC pleading for forgiveness and begging further throughout. "That's about a girl that's literally fed up and can't take no more," he offers. "Like men always do, you got something at home that's fantastic, a ride or die chick You go outside, see something that's nice and you're right at it."

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, KC Jockey moved to New York prior to junior high school to live with his parents. As a child of Brooklyn, he found reason to side with both the positive and negative energies of the most populous city in America. From music to hustling and everything in between, he divided his time so as to fit in all of life's luxuries, good and bad. The negative side of KC's hustle came to an abrupt end when his mother passed away in a car accident in 1997. "After I brought her back to the United States to bury her, I started looking at life way, way different," says KC.

Knowing his mother wanted to see him do some good with his talent and realize his lifelong dream of music, KC committed himself to the studio, sometimes 18 hours a day. "The main thing I keep in front of me is my kids and my mother," he says. "If I keep them in front of me, I'm able to do positive stuff. I'd rather lose that way than any other way."

In 2000, KC Jockey made his dreams and his mother's wishes official when he established his own independent record label. Fittingly, he named it Sweet Sadie's Production, in her honor. Attached to a four year contract with VP Records, the first single KC dropped under his new umbrella where he currently acts as CEO, rapper, actor and producer was "Step To Me."

"Diggy Diggy," ironically the song that instigated the KC Jockey/VP Records' marriage, was arguably one of his most successful, spending a year and a half on BET's now defunct "Uncut." He continued the course of cutting hi-definition videos, in time surfacing as the first independent reggae/dancehall artist to break into the market with such fury. At the height of his promotional/video assault, KC Jockey erected a full size billboard on the streets of Kingston and in turn, arranged for one half of the coinciding video to be filmed there even in his absence!

However, KC Jockey has endured a long legal battle to obtain his naturalization as an American citizen due to his past mistakes. "November 4, 2008 was not only the biggest day in American history, its was the biggest day in my career. I'm promoting my new record "Rub Your Body", my new video is finalize, I just completed an amazing photoshoot and now after fifteen years, I have finally received my passport. God really has his hands on my career." states Jockey. KC Jockey is currently looking forward to visit his birthplace Jamaica in a few weeks to promote his new single "Rub Your Body", and to visit his Jamaican fans who will finally meet him in person after seeing him in videos and billboards across the country.

Lastly, with an assortment of film credits to boast over the past two years, blockbusters I Am Legend and American Gangster included, KC Jockey is on the verge of becoming a household name. More recently, he starred in the soon to be released independent movie, What Goes Around and an online film depiction entitled, Where The Girls At and EGO starring Eve. KC Jockey's debut album is set for a early 2009 release. The very definition of a "star," KC Jockey's lifelong journey is literally the stuff dreams are made of.

KC Jockey is now poised and ready for the world in 2009!

Chris Brown - She Ain't You

    Download Now!

In November 2005, Chris Brown’s Scott Storch-produced “Run It!” — a rewrite of Usher’s “Yeah!” — topped the Billboard Hot 100, making the 16-year-old singer the first male artist in over a decade to top the chart with a debut single. While there was nowhere to go but down, at least in terms of chart positions, the pop-oriented R&B vocalist was only getting started. By the end of the decade, he was one of the biggest active pop stars, with a clutch of Top Ten singles and platinum albums to his credit, along with constant comparisons to Michael Jackson and several acting roles on the side. His momentum slowed little when, in 2009, he pleaded guilty to assaulting girlfriend Rihanna — one of the year’s biggest celebrity news stories.Brown came from a small Virginia town called Tappahannock. Like a lot of kids born since the early '80s, he was initially into his parents' favorite music but eventually fell under the spell of hip-hop. Around the time he reached puberty, he discovered his singing ability and switched his focus away from MC'ing. A move to New York led to being discovered by Tina Davis, a Def Jam A&R executive who became the singer’s manager shortly after losing her position to the Sony-BMG merger. The Jive label, due in part to its track record with younger artists who had established longevity (like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake), won the bidding war for Brown and lined up several production and songwriting heavyweights, including Jermaine Dupri, Bryan-Michael Cox, Dre & Vidal, Sean Garrett, and Storch, for his self-titled first album. An immediate Top Ten hit when it was released in 2005, Chris Brown not only featured the number one “Run It!” but two other Top Ten singles in “Yo (Excuse Me Miss)” and “Say Goodbye.” Exclusive, released in 2007 and a bit of a departure from the squeaky-clean image displayed throughout the debut, was even more successful, featuring the number one single "Kiss Kiss" and two other Top Five hits. Yet another Top Five hit came with “No Air,” a duet with Jordin Sparks that appeared on Sparks' own self-titled album. In March 2009, Brown was charged with felonious assault of Rihanna — an altercation that had prevented his then-girlfriend from taking the stage at the Grammy Awards. Brown was scheduled to perform as well, but he did not appear and maintained a low profile for several months. A fairly substantial backlash resulted in Brown’s songs being pulled from rotation on several radio stations. Ultimately, however, it had little bearing on the progress of his music and acting careers; the week prior to the December release of his third album, Graffiti, the single “I Can Transform Ya” was already nearing the Top 20 of the Hot 100, and his acting roles — which had already included spots in Stomp the Yard and a recurring role on The O.C. — hadn’t shown any sign of drying up.
