Plies Faces Lawsuit

Rapper Plies has been hit with a lawsuit alleging that he stole several songs from an aspiring artist. The rapper, Stackks--born David Lee Sessions filed the lawsuit this week in the United States District Court. Stackks claims that he met a promoter named Cornelius M. Davis years ago; Davis also worked for Plies, Gucci Mane, Pastor Troy.

The two men began to work together, with Stackks recording songs for Davis' Behind Bars Records imprint at Polk Brother Studios. According to the suit, several of the songs recorded at Polk Brothers Studios were stolen by Plies and turned into hit records for various songs on his albums.Stackks claims Plies stole the tracks âMy Medicine,â âLeggo,â âTrap,â âSelf,â and âAll I Know.â He is seeking an injunction against the sale of the songs and accounting for all gains and profits. It is not determined what damages he's demanding. Atlantic Records is also named in the suit.
