He is currently 21 years old, he started recording when he was just 8 years old and started producing when he was 13. He graduated from Simon Gratz high school in 2007. He dedicated himself to his music and told himself that he was going to make it not just for himself, but for his family. Ty has worked day and night to master his flow, and his producing/mixing skills. He started a Record Label called “Stack Money Gang Entertainment” or “S.M.G.” in late 2007. He is influenced by many artists like Jay-Z, Eminem, Notorious BIG, Tupac, Jadakiss, Young Gunz, Ms. Jade, and his #1 influence is the city he lives in, Philadelphia! In October Of 2010 Young Ty linked up with a Music Producer / Promoter / Graphics Designer by the name of Nick “iAmSoundz” Smith (Founder Of Grinder Media Group & ThizIsHipHop.com). Nick changed everything around, he saw the talent in Young Ty and continued to work with him to Mode him into the star that he was destined to be.
