UFC Bantamweight and Flyweight division champion, Henry Cejudo recently crossed the line calling potential competitor, Aljamain Sterling a racial slur.

Cejudo referred to the Serra-Longo team product as “Aljamima”.

Cejudo took to Twitter to roast the competitor, who is seeking a shot at the bantamweight title but made the degrading impasse instead. Cejudo is just the latest to follow in the steps of Conor McGregor and Colby Covington with openly racist slurs towards their fellow fighters.

Conor McGregor hurled Islamophobic slurs towards Khabib Nurmagomedov during the promo of their fateful UFC 229 fight. It is a disturbing trend that ironically sells tickets as the events headlined by both McGregor and Covington were blockbuster.

Aljamain Sterling is currently on a four-fight win streak. The Long Island native calls himself “Funk Master” and sports a throwback box cut. He has never had a title shot and has constantly called Cejudo out for not fighting him while on this win streak.

UFC Broadcaster Karyn Bryant publicly and politely scolded the champ-champ for the racial slur.

Cejudo has been inactive since his UFC 238 TKO win over Marlon Moraes back on June 8th, 2019. He officially relinquished his UFC Flyweight title on December 19th, 2019.
