After the homicide of his brother, FLY TY didn’t think twice when he loaded his gun to retaliate. 15 years in prison for murder and attempted murder FLY TY isn’t glorifying his truths but instead giving a real account to his story through music. His angle maybe a road less traveled because most would hide from their past in hopes it will be forgotten, but this isn’t his choice. He feels he only has one chance to help his wrongs correct someone else from taking his path. Desert Storm Records and Street Fam affiliate, FLY TY worked with Fabulous, Rocko, Juelz Santana, and Future. He recently released two singles, “Usher Raymond” ft. Juelz Santana, Cap One, and Lil Durk and “Understand It” ft. Rocko. Artists such as Meek Mills, Chubbie Baby, and Rocko have been inspirations to his craft. FLY TY prides himself on using his story to make a difference. He also utilizes literature to reach the community. His book “Road To Redemption”, which he wrote while he was incarcerated, is a book that inspires people to make the right decisions in life.
