High-speed video cameras are not cheap. They often cost more than $25,000. That’s what makes the Edgertronic, which is capable of shooting almost 18,000 frames per second, so intriguing – it only costs $5,495. To cut costs, the Edgertronic has been striped down to the essentials: image sensor, chip set, memory and processor. Here are the details on the camera:
