New Music: Jessie J – ‘It’s My Party’

After getting “Wild” with Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal, Jessie J hits the dance floor on “It’s My Party,” the second single off her upcoming sophomore album. The guitar-driven pop tune features an irresistible chorus and some big vocals from the British songstress.

“It’s my party, I’ll do do what I want,” she sings.

She has already shot a video for it, which features three different parties. “There’s some cameos in there. Some of my best mates in there,” Jessie told Capital FM. “It’s a fun video, it’s just me being silly. It’s a lot of humor.”

Her sophomore album is due in September featuring production from Dr. Luke, Ammo, and Claude Kelly. “It’s a lot of big vocals, a lot of vocal tricks, but still huge pop choruses,” Kelly told Rap-Up TV. “She’s colorful and over the top so you’re gonna have that still.”
