Rapper Lands New Daytime Talk Show 4:00PM ET October 31st, 2011 Contributor : Martin James A Rocky Williform Company Rapper/actress Queen Latifah will be returning to daytime television. Latifah's Flavor Unit Productions has inked a new deal with Will Smith's Overbrook Productions to launch a new daytime talk show, to be syndicated through Sony Pictures Television. Latifah previously hosted "The Queen Latifah Show" from 1999 thru 2001. Her Flavor Unit Productions has delved heavily into television production, with Latifah serving as producer of VH1's hit "Single Ladies" and BET's "Let's Stay Together." Her new talk show is slated to debut in 2013.
