Mrs. Carmelo says she's more than just a famous NBA star's wife and that her key is focusing on her own interests. Of course, being Melo's wifey doesn't hurt. “You have to set a goal and really work towards it. A lot of people say, ‘I want to do this, I want to do that,’ but what are you doing to get to that goal?" she says. "If you want to act, are you in acting classes? It takes that kind of commitment to get better at a craft, and people see the final result; but they don’t know the work it takes to do these kinds of things.” Good advice.
